Help. Burnt taste new mini protank

i get this problem with most of my mini protanks and found if i turn the rubber which is over the wick the other way around it solves the problem it seems as if when you tighten the base to the main body it crushes the rubber creating a seal from the main tank to the wick and turning it around seems to work and i have had no problems with any leaks doing it that way.

syycoe - thanks for that top tip - I'll give it a go on my ill-fated MPTs and see what happens. I'll report back!

EDIT: Genius! Now got two MPTs which actually work without giving a burnt taste - happy bunny!!!

As a follow-on from the post above; I have 2 x Mini Protanks, both bought from Focalecig on one of their specials quite a few months ago.
They never really worked properly, and I had consigned them to the bottom of my vaping box. They came with both a 510 atty head holder, and also an eGo sleeve which takes the head and looks much neater on for instance a Spinner.
Having tried syycoe's top tip for getting the heads to work properly, I have further discovered that while the head does indeed wick better in the 510 fitting, it has no improvement in the eGo sleeve.
I will therefore use my old Vivi Nova beauty ring and am now vaping some homemade Menthol in a MPT on my Spinner and for the first time, enjoying it. This same setup also accompanied me to my garage window which is now gleaming with a fresh coat of sparkling white gloss.

I will try again with a new head, just to make absolutely sure the MPTs are back in commission, and will duly report back again.

Just to clear up the issue of if she has been sent a genuine mini protank or not, does anyone have their box from a genuine mini protank, and can check if there is a code on it please.

It's bugging me , so I've asked in general for help.

I didn't know they could come with a 510 fitting, maybe that was the special deal ???

Ok I've already posted a pic earlier of the front of my box. Theses are pics of the back and all 3 sides and the opening side that the inner tray slides into.
Also the little card that comes inside.

The older stock genuine protank mini 2's didn't have any codes it's only the last few months that they started to put them on. My first ones from several uk vendors had no codes and were exactly as Rednutts box.

rednutt have you tried any of the coils today, or are you just going to post them off to shiny and see what happens then?
