Help. Burnt taste new mini protank

Mine are all mixed together and all work Sammy so should be ok.

Ahh ok thanks GunJack. All my clearos ie ce4/ce5s, iclear16 and protank reach all my batteries inc egos ,itaste vv3 and my new vmax courtesy of Teeth. The T3s has trouble connecting to all my batteries so I presumed it's the t3s at fault.

I have had a couple of evods which only take a short post coil as a long post one will not fit down the hole so I know what you mean, but this shouldn't happen on a genuine protank, as they are meant to take the long post coils which makes me wonder what on earth is in the rgm2.

look at the voltage and wattage setting and turn them both right down if you have it set to max on ether it will taste burnt to do this
press and hold the - button till you get a p or a u and some numbers then repetitively press the - button till the numbers stop going down
if it was a p that came on the screen that time press and hold the - button then whist still holding - button press and hold the power button .p and some numbers will sow up but keep holding both buttons till u and some numbers show up then let go of power button and repetitively press - button till it shows P6.0
if it was a u and some numbers that showed up 1st press and hold the + button then whist still holding + press and hold the power button u and some numbers will show up but jeep holding the 2 buttons till p and some numbers shows up then repetitively press the - till it shows u3.3
then try one of your tanks again with what you think is a duff head if you only had a few goes on the head it might clear up after a few drags i have over cooked the protank heads a cupple of times but as long as you only used it a few times it might work

Oh the base of the RGM2 doesn't fit the protank mini but the coil does change it to the protank mini base Rednutt

I have an evod like that, I had to get a 510 to ego connector, then it worked fine.

Oh god this is getting confusing lol
The 2 protank heads have long posts and my evod had a shorter post but did fit in the protank. The rgm2 has a longer post and screws into the protank base but when putting it into the protank main part it won't go down the hole. I'll try and get a pic to see if that helps x

we had this problem with the copy evods the centre post on the genuine kanger coils is bigger then the airway on the tank

Well, I'm not au fait with the Mini Protanks, but do have a couple of naff ones from Focalecig which always taste burnt, even after I've recoiled the heads, so am watching this thread with interest. Wish I could help rednutt, it's so frustrating when you've waited so long for FT stuff to arrive and then it doesn't work

Hi.
My mini protank just seems to burn too. Have tried numerous heads in it, turning down the watts does stop it burning but it's too an extent where there is hardly any throat hit or flavour... I'll then up the watts again gradually and find maybe one draw or two is ok then it starts to burnt again. I've given up on it, bought an aerotank and trying to convince myself I need a nautilus too. The aerotank is the business.

I am suspecting that the rgm has a cheap made coil in it which has been made with a fatter post, this would mean that the hole in the rgm is slightly wider so it fits.

Either that or the protank has a fault, but it came with long posts so that doesn't seem to be the answer.

Interesting, surely only the actual coil can make it taste burnt though, nothing to with the body of the protank?

You can change the posts see if that helps they just pull off and on. I had some naff ones from focalecig too but got a refund they weren't genuine ones though supposed to be.
