"Bel, isn't there anyway to attatch a lanyard to the Provari?" Using a Bulli with it's various indentations and grooves it's easy to hang it round your neck by "strangling" with any lanyard, the one that came with the SD for instance, however, it's a fair old lump of weight to be swinging around, you forget it's there, jump up to do something or bend/sit down and it becomes a liability/bit of a demolition ball, I've clattered it off my lappy screen more than once, our glass top coffee table, glass globe side lights by the settee....there no doubt will be tears, mine when my missus catching me breaking something with it :-(

Steve is rite, many of the cheaper VVs work alot better than the Provari as they dont have the safety cut off points.Im vaping my RDA with a 1.6ohm coil at 4.2v with my £40 VV from Bradkb on UKV.Now this thing kicks like a beast, never gets hot and takes dual 18650 batterys. To be fair this thing smashes the Provari and is how VV should be. I guess if your SD is doing such a good job and you are happy with the experience then you dont need VV.VV certainly does offer an enhanced vaping experience and opens up alot of possibilities though.

I'm firmly in the VV camp as well, because the possibilities it opens up for vaping experiences, is just so much more extensive than a set voltage . . . you can literally get anything working well on a device with that capability.
Perfect for wimped off atomiser's etc, just up the voltage . . . although with the more complicated electronics it's always worth having a back up device, just incase.

Ok, here's my tuppenceworth.. I have, in no particular order.... A Provari A GGTB A GG Stealth A Megaladon An Apex Ultra While i've probably felt every one was my favorite when i first got them, the winner out of that lot (for me personally) is the Stealth... I enjoy the Provari, it's great for those times i need a really strong hit, but having said that, it's been sitting completely unused since i got my Stealth nearly 3 weeks ago, i've decided if my mod performs extremely well at 3.7v, i really don't need any higher... The GGTB was a favorite before that, but altho it performs well with regular cleaning, sometimes it seems a little lacking in 'ooomph' some of the time... same with the Apex Ultra (14500 batt model) i do like the RES for out and about, as i've really never taken to any cartos, tanks or whatever, the RES really does taste like dripping, but lasts longer... I've found tho, that unless i remember to take a s-l-o-w long drag, it can also be a bit lacking in 'ooomph', and if my hands are the least bit damp, or have had even so much as a smear of juice on them, i find the switch frustrating and hard to operate... The Megaladon is terrific, i love the bottom button, but as with every 18650 mod i've tried, it's a bit too heavy for me to carry around, and i find the vape is a bit too 'fierce' for me too?? in fact, it'll be the next one i put up in the classifieds... So, there you go....every mod, like every person, is slightly different, in fact i'd say the only way to tell which one is right for you is to try it, i'm afraid, lol and how you feel about a mod when you first try it, might not be how you'll still feel about it a few months down the line...and i'm sure our Ian will agree with that, lol so, look at them all, pick one that gets good reviews and is within your price range and go for it....if it doesn't suit, you can sell it on, in fact, if you watch the classifieds here and on UKV, you could pick one up for less than buying new, but if it's a bargain, you better be quick, as they go fast...

I work in a shop so really don't think my boss would let me have my provari around my neck I've seen some very jewel-like Provaris, Bel, you could tell him it's a stonking great pendant I was going to suggest including a Megalodon in the mix, Chillax - it's a very simple device that will give you a kinda VV if you alternate it with your SD The bigger batteries make it heavier, but I wonder if that will not be a problem for you because you are accustomed to the SD, which (I think) is heavier in itself without batteries, if you see what I mean. Because of using an SD and a Thai mod, which both take a lanyard, for so long, I'm wedded to the need for one, I cannot face having to put down and be separated from my PV I can't believe that so many modders don't think of including the facility to add a lanyard scylla

I think I could esaily adjust to a different weight/shape because I smoked rollies then the first Pv was a TT which I didn't seem to notice then the Screwdriver, which again didn't seem to concern me, so hopefully, my next choice will soon feel fine as well.
Can I just ask the people who had/have or used something on par with the Screwdrivers performance......was there a definate difference to the TH/pleasure when they upgraded (and if you could say what you used)

Chillax, i sometimes use the screwdriver, so if you want a better vape i would really suggest a provari, or look at the ones Steve mentioned. River uses this one and when i tried it if im honest was really impressed. So much cheaper than a provari too! hope that helps
