Nice to meet you toyah Sounds like your doing well. Don't worry too much about that 1 ciggie, the first thing in the morning one was the last to go for me

We all have wobble days Toyah, the benefits are well worth the effort - just got to work on the morning fag but the main thing is the twenty odd that you are not smoking

i think this forum might of helped save my life as i used to smoke over 150g a week and now i dont smoke ciggies it is full of helpful friendly peps who answer all my stupid questions no matter how dumb they are (trust me im dumb so come up with some good ones) however it has also put my marriage on the rocks due to me catching a terrible and uncureable disease shinyitus which requires new shiny vapeing things to keep under control as for the morning ciggy its far better to have one than 25 so your doing awsome

toyah I still smoke about 5-10 a day depending on mood etc but that's at least 40 a day less than before, am I bothered? No, look at all the ones I don't smoke any more and I feel loads better so carry on.

toyah and 'well done'. Just make sure you have a battery 'ready to go' in the morning and you'll soon lose that 'first' one. DON'T leave it charging overnight though, just make sure you have at least two, so one is always ready.

decoy We all succumb to shinyitus in the beginning, but it soon wears off when you find THE one, I am more interested in flavours now looking for perfection, it's cheaper than buying mods too.

Hi toyah and a very warm from me too. I was the same, the morning ciggie (sneaky one whilst Mr Lairey was in the shower) was the last to go for me too... One day you will wake up and it will be lunchtime and you'll suddenly realise that you haven't had a ciggie at all... Huge congrats on your progress so far and long may it continue!

I bought the VIP starter and am finding it hard work tbh. But after reading up I have just ordered an evod starter kit. I don't get a good draw with the VIP I have 2 batteries as suggested.
One thing that has been mentioned is my mood seems to be quite uplifted, which I wasn't expecting. Perhaps it's the buzz of my achievement. Never in a million years did I think I would do this well

Welcome Hubby took over a year to be smoke free. In the end it was a combination of factors that got him to drop the 2 or 3 cigs he was smoking a day. 1. Winter Standing out in the cold to smoke was easier in the summer 2. We upped his nic from 18 to 24. He is now back down to 18 but only after at least 6mths at the higher level. 3. He found the right equipment for him. (difficult since it had to be a pipe not a "silly" stick :/ ) 4. We found the right flavour for him. Spend money in the beginning (what you are saving from not buying cigs) it's worth finding what works for you. Once you do (and it may take a few months, you are in the clear and start to save a fortune

The money thing is quite a buzz. I can go out and spend money on myself and not feel guilty that I have already spent 50+ quid a week on cigarettes. What a waste
