VG or PG intolerance?

Recently I've realised I'm getting a tight chest often after vaping, bit like can't catch my breath and thought could be PG. My heart rate is normal, so not worried it's nic.

So did a mix only 10% flavour, menthol in PG, and rest VG, no nic to see how it was.
Well, much much worse!

Not a fan of too much throat hit but next step is PG only mix I guess? To see if it's the vg, is that possible? Can't find much on Web.

Doubt it's flavours as would have to be all of them, and I have a core of flavours that I've been vaping for ages anyhow.
Any other ideas?

Just to add, I tend to have a sore throat in mornings now too, not sure when that started, always had after heavy vape night but, realised today that was all time now.

I had it in first few weeks of vaping back in November but went away.

I had a tight chest after 2-3 draws on an 80vg/20pg liquid I tried, so it could well be the vg that's causing it.

Forgot to add that I discovered that too much pg makes my muscles/me lethargic too, so I stick with 50/50 liquids now.

Good to hear that it's possible then.
My normal mixes are all 60PG :40VG though.

It's worth experimenting with. A 70/ 30 mix might be enough to keep it at bay?

Have you changed anything else recently? Different clearo, heads, wick, wire?

I normally use various drippers, always cotton wool and various ohms, mostly sub ohms. Have been since January I think.
But was noticing this breathlessness and thought protank mini, which I used to use, would be lighter on my lungs so now using that, but still same problem.

I thought you got that sorted and that it was an infection?

If not then it could be tension due to circumstances of late?

It's possible to develop an intolerance or sensitivity to something at any time boyofford, even if you have been using it without issue for a while.

A process of elimination really, I'd try a flavourless PG and VG Nicotine mix as well and see how you are with them, then take it from there.

I should get chance to mix next week so will do few variations.

If it does turn out to be vg then will make vaping bit weird, with no visible vape!

Well guessing it is in red astaire and afro diziac too anyhow.

And the mix I did with just menthol and VG did have more menthol than I normally go for.......may be a red herring but we'll see.

You'll still get some vapour with all PG boyofford, just not the amount you're used to.

Novelty of vape clouds is wearing off a bit anyhow, so wouldn't be end of world.

I'd miss menthol more!

I remember the post, but forgot the details exactly, and search function wasn't helping!
So was it the menthol for sure then?
I remembered the thread wrong I thought it was the PG with you.
