Don't get sore throat when vaping, unless nic is too high for ohms, more morning after... and passes after morning vape. Just had a thought, I've been doing a lot of exercise last couple of months (well for me, been riding to and from work as fast as possibly can lol, I'm type who gets competitive with himself), previous excersise was nil.....maybe I'm not drinking enough water to allow for vaping anymore and exercise?

It's really important to drink a lot of water, I chain vape and dehydration is an issue for me. I just make sure I drink lots of water throughout the day and especially in the evening when I tend to vape more. It wasn't a problem when I started say 16 months ago, but if I'm honest I vape a hell of a lot these days! I'm trying to cut down

VG always seems to settle heavier in my chest and throat as well, but too much PG starts me itching, I am on 70/30 if I can get it but 80/20 is my norm.

Currently vaping 100% PG, with nic but no flavourings to mask the pepperyness.
Will see how it goes, fair throat hit! Only got it in protank mini, not sure could cope in dripper lol.

It will be interesting to see how that goes boyofford - these threads are always an eye-opener for us all, as the symptoms might strike at any time. I find I get a bit tight in the chest if I vape too much too quickly, but it passes after a minute or so, I reckon it's my body telling me to slow down. Can't be the nic as I'm down to 10mg maximum, usually 6-8mg!

I vape lot more than I did at start, but lower nic too, like you, this is 7.2mg but 10ml will probably only last me two to three days. Earlier today was vaping red astaire. At 60:40 PG:VG and my chest wasn't loving it. Ran out of vg it seems, but will get some and do comparison too later in week perhaps too.

I can't vape RA at all, my chest gets so tight and I can hardly breathe also makes me wheezy. This happened with shop bought and home made at different pg/vg levels. I do vape menthol though, and don't have that reaction.

My throat was sore again this morning, but this PG mix does give more throat hit so could be different reason.

Well vaping pg only ain't the answer.
I persisted with it but no good. Gives me worse sore throat, sore lungs , stinging nose and headaches if take a big drag. As for breathing, it's hard to say, I've been vaping less, breathing did seem better.
Went back to a mix with red astaire in, only one I had..... None of above symptoms, though sore throat in mornings..... But tight chest again.
Off to do my regular 60:40 mix tomorrow but with no flavour... See how that goes.

Not good, but at least you have found something out, hope the next mix works better for you.

Have you tried a VG only mix boyofford, minus any flavouring - if you have VG nic base that is. PEG 400 is considered to be good for those folk who have both a VG & PG intolerance: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PEG_400Though I wouldn't be sure where you can obtain it from now.

Hopefully don't have intolerance to both! Sorry to be daft, but does headaches & sore throat sound like intolerance with pg only mix, or is that just normal?

Recently I've realised I'm getting a tight chest often after vaping, bit like can't catch my breath and thought could be PG. My heart rate is normal, so not worried it's nic. So did a mix only 10% flavour, menthol in PG, and rest VG, no nic to see how it was. Well, much much worse! Not a fan of too much throat hit but next step is PG only mix I guess? To see if it's the vg, is that possible? Can't find much on Web. Doubt it's flavours as would have to be all of them, and I have a core of flavours that I've been vaping for ages anyhow. Any other ideas? i have copd and have struggled with your symptons for ages then with the help of a vendour on here discovered i needed to use 30pg 70vg 12mg nic, it works a treat im free of cough and no tight chest unless i overdo it vaping. hope this helps and good luck
