No, they are rubbish. The bad side of vaping is that some companies want you spending frequently. It's not necessary. I started with a cheap shisha pen from Amazon - £5.99 and some liquid from LTECIGS. Both were fine. Total cost £14, and would have done me for at least 3 months if I wasn't a gadget addict.

Hi everyone, I've had my Vapestick starter kit a week and now when I have charged the batteries there is very little vape, in fact after a couple of puffs there is nothing, surely the batteries have not conked out already or I am doing something wrong. Jamesrd Although Vapestick won't be great batteries, they should manage plenty of charges before they suffer to this extent. Can you report the latest when you read this jamesrd

No, they are rubbish. The bad side of vaping is that some companies want you spending frequently. This is just SO true. I know respected UK company that encourages their customers to buy a new pair of batteries every month. £9.99 per battery x2 x12 = £240. Crazy...

when you say it might have run out juice surely not after just 5 days, I'll be receiving my extra ones tomorrow and after that I'm going to order the myepack as you JDS advised, because of the non vaping I've had to resort back to a couple of cigerettes, I have 9 left and after that that's it, no more. Once again, thanks everyone. Jamesrd

Hi all, after a lot of research and reading all your good messages I think I know what I want, so once again I need a bit of help and advice, what I don't want is the type of e cig that looks like the real thing as the batteries don't seem to last very long and I'm not really bothered about it looking real, more about two things really, 1 the amount of vape and 2 the hit on the back of the throat because after 60 years of smoking I need to still get the feeling of smoking a real cigarette like everyone does but without all the deadly chemicals, I don't really want to pay more than £30 if possible so what would you good people recommend, to start with I don't want any fancy flavours just good strong tobacco. Looking forward to your replies. Jamesrd

Excellent that you're looking to move away from the cig-a-likes, they really are very poor value and don't perform particularly well. I'd recommend this starter kit. Comes with 2 batteries and clearomisers (tanks) so you can have one on charge and use the other. You will need to get juice to fill it with, Myepack do plenty of them - I can't advise on which ones as I don't like tobacco flavours. Perpetua beat me to it

jamesrd I have a couple of tobacco juices that were sent to me from another member this week. They aren't to my liking so I would rather someone got the use of them if you would like them. Like many others I generally don't use tobacco flavours, I tried this couple to see what like and just didn't enjoy but if you are just coming off the cigs they will probably be quite enjoyable. When you get your Evod kit or something similar, PM your address and I will forward them to you for free

I am surprised you are not getting some use from your Vapesticks.... when you say "run out of juice" you mean your have used up the refills?

thanks for your replies again, I do appreciate them, mikeyvape that's a very kind offer from you, I've just received today extra cartomiser refills from vapestick so I will not order the Myepack until the end of the week and I will let you know, jds yes I suppose that is what I mean (I ran out of juice) but surely not being a heavy smoker it should have lasted more than 4days, I received my new cartomisers this morning and its now 15.30pm and I have had to put it on charge already. Is this normal? I can't wait to use them all up so I can send away for the Myepack. Jamesrd

I think that's about normal for cig-a-like batteries a couple of hours. Why we don't like them that and the overprice. I used one cartridge per day and it didn't help me stop then I found the ego and clearo got a rubbish one from ebay before I found this forum but it did it's job and I stopped smoking overnight. I then found out about better options and I'm very happy with my itaste vv with protank mini setup. Myepack do them as separates and if I was to recommend to a new starter it would be this. It would save you from upgrading in a couple of months so cheaper in the long run. My batteries are now 6 months old and still going strong I have 2 one on charge on in use and loads of protank minis as I change flavours about a dozen times during the day. I also have 2 brand new itaste vv batteries in reserve. Do not get the itaste EP though it's rubbish compared to the itaste vv v3.
