No, they were reporting on the results of a study, just like they reported on the results of a study yesterday.

I can't remember a single paper that has had an editorial coming out explicitly for or against electronic cigarettes.

Lets hope people finally start seeing sense now

I'm not sure I want the NHS dishing them out. A lot of people vape because they want too. And are not looking at a long years plan to give vapeing up. They like it and will stay with it long term. They are happy that they are off the stinkys and that's fine with them. If the nhs give cigs out or even juice. All vapers will get it for free and there will be a shell of a big yearly bill for it. 
Maybe give a starter set away for people an ego sort of thing. And say a months worth of juice. That would be a great help for people. 
I don't think we want to get to the point were we as a country pay the final bill

Again ron, not so sure it is. Life is certain death, gobbling 400 lsd tabs is certain death, going for a space walk without a protective suit is certain death.

Smoking (long term) is a bit more like playing tig with a bear. You might get real lucky and live a long and mostly healthy life or, more likely, it will f*** you up.



Do keep on vaping - that is a good thing in my eyes - but that is my opinion, not a fact.

yes, it's great that studies such as this are coming out positive, I think we can all agree on that...

...but let's also not take our eye off the ball for the possible political "backlash" for want of a better word...

Professor Robert West has asked me to get a letter together from fellow vapers to hopefully be published in journal. I had a minor rant to a one of his researchers on the phone and she reported back to him about how we mistrust the professionals because they continually let us down.
