I prefer to mix my juice fresh. Looking for flavour concentrates that don't require steeping time.
I've not tried that many concentrates as I have only recently started mixing my own juice, so still very new to the world of DIY.

Thanking you rednutt.
Just mixed up some Capella Harvest Berry and it's so sickly I can't vape it lol. Strangely enough I mixed at 25% and it's very weak, but still sickly. So I dread to think what it'll be like mixed at a higher %

So I dread to think what it'll be like mixed at a higher % Harvest Berries I mix at 20% and it's lovely Hissie, 25% is rather high . . . it will be weak, because you've not given the ingredients any time to infuse. The majority of concentrates do benefit from some steeping time, even if it's just 24 hours with fruits. You're heading for much mixing disappointment if you don't, unless you're very selective about which concentrates you choose, remember that any premade you buy will have had at least 24 hours to steep.

Thanks all. I must get organised with this mixing malarkey. I mix a couple of 10ml bottles and then realise that I have no other bottles mixed up & have to then use the newly mixed ones (if that makes sense) lol

This is one of the reasons I'm glad I've got a little stock pile, only about 100ml of different flavours. Because I know my homebrew is going to need probably a week, once mixed and I would hate to run out of anything nice. I'm out of baccy just now but luckily have about 20ml of custard which I love. T-Juice's Vamp Vape mixed at 20% is good to go straight away.
T-Juice's Jack the Ripple mixed at 20% is good to go after only 2/3 days

I read somewhere that if you steep your bottles in warm water it speeds it up... a lot.. True or false ??

I heard this too @agenthoover but don't use hot water as it degrades the nicotine. I've not tried it but tried most others and found no difference but then I only vape fruits which need very little steeping as a rule.

I read somewhere that if you steep your bottles in warm water it speeds it up... a lot.. True or false ?? It'll help bring about a colour change, but still doesn't really give the ingredients time to infuse properly. You may as well stand the bottles on a sunny windowsill, save on warm water. Too much heat however, will degrade both nicotine and flavour. I don't get and never will, why mixes can't be given natural time to steep, they are so much better and more enjoyable for it. My comparison is, it's the flavour difference between a forced and naturally ripened tomatoe - I know which one I'd rather have.

It amuses me as time after time people post asking how to cut down on steeping time (no disrespect hissie!). There is NO substitute for steeping, it's a natural process and there is nothing we can do to radically alter the amount of time required for Mother Nature to do her thing. The secret to mixing success is to go hell for leather to begin with, mixing far more juice than you think you'll need. Then ensure that you mix about twice the weekly amount of juice you consume for the next two weeks, and then mix weekly with the same amount of juice consumed in that time. That way, you'll build up a little stock of juice that is fully steeped and ready to vape, with a steady stream of liquid in various stages of steeping on the production line. As long as you don't get lazy and thing 'oh, I've got plenty of juice mixed now' and give it a miss for a couple of weeks, otherwise you will end up with an OOS situation and need to over-mix for a couple of weeks to replenish stocks. Once you have done it for a few months you'll soon get into the swing, and always have enough ready juice to vape.

Or like I do which is to mix about 3-4 months worth at a time, when down to the last 2 weeks worth I have a big mixing session. I am looking forward to tomorrows mixing session
