I think they take evod, protank and airotank heads, all backwards compatible.

Hi Pixilocks I was going to say that it may be the silica that the wicks are made of that is giving the chemical taste you get with everything you try. Maybe the naturevape coils that have cotton wicks may be an improvement but they are quite expensive if you don't coil and wick them yourself. Try the protank and if you still get nasty taste then look into these. naturevape coils

Hi, and welcome to the forum. Have a look at Joose Juice.co.uk, the are in Scotland, great juice, and great customer service. They sell 10ml samplers for 1.49, so you can try a few different flavours (my favourite is Caramel Blend -although not fruity!). I know the chemical taste you mentioned with the Chinese juices, but have never found that with JJ. As mentioned already, you need to change your heads every week or so, after 2 weeks it will taste like a bonfire... don't let it get that far!!!! You're in the right place, lots of friendly, helpful folk here

Will u marry me?
Ps drop the evod in the bin there your problem they are bad for killing the true flavor of juice i know u said you have gone for the pro tank but you should have a look at the aspire range even the BDC is good you can not go wrong with them
Love you

Greetings and to AAEC PixilocksIn the end, it's all down to personal choice and taste. In respect of juice, try and avoid cheap Asian stuff, mass produced in vats and to a cost with little consideration to end flavour on the whole. Enjoy

PixilocksI started with an evod (& a ce4, but we'll not go there). Like yourself, had a problem with flavour. Tried different juices, tanks, vv/vw, etc.... Micro-coil and cotton wick was the answer for me. A homemade coil will ALWAYS be far superior to a factory made one, and I, like a lot of others, think cotton gives a far better vape than silica. You'll think its too big for you, but its not - get a cheap vamo (from fasttech) or a cheap mech mod (& batteries & charger) and a kayfun clone from China - follow supershinys guide to put a cotton micro coil in it and you'll be blown away by the flavour. As someone said, get along to the vapemeet - you'll get to try loads of different devices and juices, and someone will show you how easy it is to recoil your coils. Even if you can't make the vapemeet, try a cotton wick

Cotton all the way Pixilocks and to AAEC btw. I changed the wick in both of my iclear 30 clearos and much better flavor. Thought I'd put a silica one back in yesterday whilst i was cleaning one and YUK. chemical, funky flavor. Hard to describe. erm. Plasticy, watery kind of flavor. When my protank arrives I'll see if it tastes the same with silica but being bottom coil and using much much less wick might be ok as it'll be fully saturated. Ruff
