Well it's now official - we've signed Ben Davies and as a bonus we've got Vorm as well. I really rated Vorn in his first season with Swansea, he's small for a keeper but amazingly athletic and can play a sweeper keeper role like Lloris - so a change at the back doesn't need to mean a change of system, as it does with Brad "hellboy" Friedel back there.

Goodbye Siggy as well, he's gone the other way. I always thought he was ok, scored the odd goal, but was never played in his prefered position and isn't ever going to be spectacular.

No sooner did I ask for a left back on this thread than we signed one! Let's see if that works again: why haven't we signed Messi yet

Surprised there's been no talk of Sorenson coming to the EPL. He's expected to leave Juve and he would excel in English football. Think about the reliability of Steve Bruce with a bit more pace. Bonus features....6 foot 4, 22 years old,strong as an ox and can play across the back line. Can't think of an EPL team he wouldn't start for.

Not sure why vorm has signed for you apart from the extra money, but to sign for a team where he aint gonna get much play???

He had been told he was second choice behind Flappyhandski.

Second choice at Spurs will get him more time on the pitch in the FA/League cups than Swansea are likely to offer and he'll play the Europa matches. Oh and what footballer wouldn't prefer living in or around London to Swansea?

I really don't think this was about the money, as nice as his pay rise will be.

In Flappyhandski we are talking about a player who could hardly get a game for club or country because of Schezny, or however you spell that ****'s name. Hardly a world class keeper to be stuck behind.

I can see why Vorm might've wanted out. Should the worst come to the worst and PSG/Monaco/Madrid/Barca offer the 50m or so Levy will want for Lloris next summer now he has signed that new contract, we'll have one of the best replacements out there for the system we'll play, working on the assumption we won't be signing Neuer any time soon.

It works for both parties and I'm glad we'll be seeing a lot less of Uncle Brad. Lovely guy and a good keeper in his day, but his day was a long time ago!

You're confused? If the Holtby plus cash for Concrete Ron rumours I've heard turn out to be true (please let it be bored agents/journos, please!), I think Spurs fans will have the monopoly on confused for a while!

I was born in North London and by the time we moved away when I was five or so, I was obsessed with all things Spurs. That my childminder was the mother of a reserve player and I used to get dragged off to matches didn't help

Absolutely nobody my age would support Spurs if they were a glory hunter, there hasn't been much!

I do go to the odd Argyle match and keep a close eye on whatever they do, but it's like not love. There is only room enough for one team in my heart and they don't play in green.
