In my two months of vaping so far I have tried over 30 flavours of E-Liquid , and so far I like only two.One is definitely an ADV but the other is only very occasional because of the PG/VG ratio ( although I'm hoping that I may get a result on that , but it's not guaranteed ) .
These aren't just cheap liquids I've tried and not just PG heavy liquids either ( as PG heavy liquids give me a sore throat quite quickly ) , as I've gone to trying more VG heavy liquids and well known and more expensive liquids in the hope to finding a few more ADV's.As everyone is aware the taste buds can get bored after a period of time and I don't want to end up hating the very juice that I currently have as an ADV.
I find most fruit flavoured juices are very artificial and very weak in flavour.I like sweet tobacco flavours but find that most have vanilla in which I really don't like.I also like a lot of dessert flavours to but don't like custard.
It looks as though in a fortnights time at the Vapefest I will be running from one stand to the next just trying flavours so I can find some more flavours that I like, because at the moment it's costing me a lot of money for juices that I just don't like. The last two I bought cost me nearly £16 , that much money could buy me nearly a months worth of tobacco for me in the past , I'm not saing that I want to go back to stinkies, but you can see why others do.
Second rant of the night over.

HI Montana. Surprisingly, the one tobacco I have found to be y best vape is a cheap Dekang Hill Blend. Mild with a sweet after-taste. A bit strange considering I was a Drum smoker. I'm not a fan myself because i'm not keen on the fruit, but the wife swears by Dekang honey melon as being true to the fruit. Beyond this, all my vapes are mixes so cant really say much more atm.

I've never looked for an ADV, nor would I want one with the number of lovely flavours available, I like to chop and change during the day. That also stops my taste buds from getting too tuned in to a certain flavour. Not everything I mix is divine, but if it's vapeable and relatively enjoyable, then that's good enough for me. I hated the taste of cigarettes anyway, so it's not been a hardship, saying goodbye to them. Perhaps mixing could be your next consideration Montana, then you can experiment to your hearts content.

Montana I'd recommend getting something like flavourarts golden rollie, you can add a little to other flavours to take away some of the sweetness and give it a more tobacco taste. Works really well with the caramel blend from JJ. You can also buy you juice at any PG/VG ration you like from him too which is handy and then there's also the bogof on the 30ml so even more savings. I personally use the caramel blend all day and toffee at night in the drippers. I managed to stick with one bloody awful flavour for over 20 years so sticking with a couple of vaping flavours that actually taste decent isn't to hard lol

I don't agree that the taste buds get bored. Mine haven't. I stick to two mainly, one I mix and the other I buy. I have others that I've mixed as it's cheap to do and try something different. They will get used as none of them are bad, but two is fine for me. Do what you planned at vapefest, so you have others you can move on to if boredom strikes. As enjay said, I smoked the same flavour for donkey's.

Montanamake sure you take a couple of drippers with you then you can try juices that other Vapers are using as well as the Vendors ones. Most people will be more than happy to share with you.

Finding a flavour that suits is very personal/individual matter. Like you say, very popular custards just aren't for you. I know some customers of us need to try out 50 or even 70 different flavours to meet few they like.

I must admit I spent ages fretting about finding my ADV and then it struck me that rotating a bunch of nice flavours was a far better option that the fags! I don't suppose I'll ever stick to one? but I am grateful to find 6 or 7 (so far) that I really enjoy The only thing I can mention is that I kept many of the juices I didn't rate at first as now I have a selection of different tanks I've found that some e-liquids taste much better/less so, depending on what I use. For example T-Juice Red Astaire I hated in iclear16's but now really enjoy at low voltage in glass protank and in boge carto. Whereas Jack The Ripple seemed mega bland in both those tanks but pleasurable in my billet box using a billet bridge (aspire bdc coil) and Minty The Toff is tasty in my protanks but rancid in my billet box with diver v2 but its enjoyable in my spheroid So what I'm trying to say is some juices you don't like in tanks you are using now can taste completely different in a new/different tank so don't dismiss them if you change gear

That would be great, I've also got plenty of juices people can try to , 14 and counting at the moment. That sounds good to me what is the PG/VG ratio of the Dekang E-Juices ? You will see below my current ADV and that is a sweet tobacco that is a 30/70 PG/VG mix.

I am looking for several flavours that I can rotate, so keeping me and my taste buds happy.
Mixing is certainly something I will be looking into , but I'm a bit wary of making a lot of something that may still taste like POO , lol

I currently use a Protank 2 a Mini Protank 2 and EVOD's at the moment as they all use the same coil heads and for me have been simple enough to recoil and wick.I need to keep things simple, I'm just a man after all , lol
The two Juices that I really like but didn't want to mention before are :-
Joose Juice 18mg Caramel Blend with 10% extra flavour 30/70 PG/VG Vapor-Z Pop-I Tobacco 70/30 PG/VG
The Caramel Blend is definitely my ADV and even makes my mouth water upon vaping it , funnily enough I didn't really like Caramel before I starting vaping it, it is absolutely devine. The Pop-I Tobacco is my occasional vape but still very nice , it's just they don't have an option for PG/VG yet and I can't buy the concentrate yet either as the higher PG content seems to make my throat sore.
The juices that I've lined myself up to try ( as long as those flavours are there are : -
Banana Nut Bread - Mt Baker Vapor Various PG/VG options re available Orange Dream Bar - Mt Baker Vapor Hazelnut Spread - Mt Baker Vapor I don't know if I will be able to try any of these, as I can't seem to find a UK seller, but they are one of the Vendors supporting Vapefest Cinnamon Roll - Mt Baker Vapor Ecto Cooler - Mt Baker Vapor Sanke Oil - T-Max 60/40 Black Jack - Trip Hammer 50/50 Fruit Salad - Trip Hammer 50/50 Strawberry Champagne - Trip Hammer 50/50 Bellini - Trip Hammer 50/50 Cream Tea - Trip Hammer 50/50 Various - T-Max worried about their 80/20 PG/VG American Apple Pie - The Alchemists Cupboard - ??? PG/VG Apple & Blackberry - The Alchemists Cupboard - 60/40 Seville Marmalade - Mrs Lord & Co - 50/50
I have had a look at some of the above Vendors , some are supporting the event and the rest will be attending , I'm Just not sure that the likes of Mt Baker Vapor will be available for me to try.
Roll on Vapefest , only 2 weeks and a few hours to go.

Montana I should also stress that flavours change quite a lot depending on the set up used, like a 1ohm coil in a tank set up taste very different from a 2 ohm coil in the same set up. Well worth trying different ohm builds if you find something that tastes good but isn't quite right.

The latest 2 juices that I ordered and have been steeping for over a week now were more premium juices and have me left disappointed. The first one was from a company that only makes one juice ( should make it easy to know what it is ) and it's not got any real flavour of anything at all atm, maybe more steeping would help. The second one is a bun with an X on the top ( again shouldn't be to difficult to work out what it is ) , again not a cheap juice. This juice is a juice of two halves , the first ( inhale ) is VILE can't put my finger on it, it just tastes horrible , but the exhale is nice, but not strong enough. So , it's just not worth vaping as the inhale just ruins it.
I've tried both these juices in a Protank 2 , Mini Protank 2 and a dripper and have used different resistance coils and the flavours don't change that much between them, obviously the dripper is more intense as you would expect, just not totally different.
I didn't want to name the companies as not to upset them with a bad review from me, and I'm only one customer.
As a side note , a VERY kind member here is going to send me a sample of ( I think/probably ) the most popular and talked about E-Liquid in the US.I will let you know what it's like and who it is when I get it.As I said to him , I'm almost hoping I don't like it, as their ( the only one I could find anyway ) is only one vendor in the UK that sells it, and it's very expensive for an E-liquid , but knowing my luck I will love it, but I will only be able to buy it on special occasions.I can see why some things have exclusivity and a high price to go with it, but these things are normally an item that is bought very rarely not an item that would be bought regularly , plus the fact they don't do a concentrate either.
Just 2 weeks to go , and I should be able to find some more I like at Vapefest.

Have you considered no flavour e liquid?
I only suggest this as I went down that route towards the end. It depends what your needs are I suppose? If your need it to just replicate the sensation of say a Silk cut then no flavour does the job, you know-replicating a near as dammit ciggy experience. However if you are so far removed from wanting the ciggy experience then this would likely not be the way to go.
I can understand your frustration though but am sure you'll find a way round it.
