Whilst away on hols went into a vapeshop and bought some T-Juice Tangerine Dream. Now i stipulated that it needed to be at least 60vg/40pg, the shop said yes this is the mix. Should have known better. Mix is as above, I don't do high pg. Will be letting them know how I feel at Vapefest . Now I like the flavour of the juice but not the ratio mix, how can I add some extra vg please. Thanks anubis

I'm afraid there's no easy way to achieve your goal. You could buy some VG boots and add that but the problem is by doing so you'll reduce both the nic strength and the flavour. Only real option is to get into mixing and have all the ingredients then it would be recoverable

I think all tjuice is mixed at 80/20 premade, the good news is you can buy the concentrate and then make whatever you want

The main reason I started mixing is because I wanted to have the T-Juice flavours without using their 80/20 off the shelf stuff. I knew I couldn't be alone on this one which does beg the question as to why they only make it at such a high ratio and not give customers the choice like other vendors.

I guess time and the man power required to process the variables must be a consideration for any company sirvapalot . . . it's really only been comparatively recently that other Vendors have been offering the choice. For what seemed ages, there's only been a couple that I've known of. Although many Vendors even if they don't advertise the choice, do try and be accommodating if they can.

Yeah I see what your saying Perpetua but if you're only going to mix at one ratio 80/20 just seems like a very odd choice to me. I would imagine the majority of people vape somewhere between 50/50 and 80/20, I've not heard of many people that go higher than that. Chefs Vapour send their samples at 65/35 which to me seems like the best compromise.

I think it's a ' historical ' ratio as much as anything sirvapalot, that's been a popular/known one from since I discovered vaping. I'd guess as well, as forum users that we could be more informed/selective over such a thing, ratios possibly mean nothing to the majority of ecig users. Our hobby is still evolving . . . and with it our expectations.

Don't be tempted to add VG to boost the ratio, even if the lack of nic strength doesn't bother you, it doesn't take much to kill the flavour (I wasted some otherwise perfectly good Caramel Blend learning that lesson!!)
