It is going to be a lonely weekend on the forum with so many people away.
So please charge your phones, tablets or other internet devices and install tapatalk so those that canny make it can stay in touch.
maybe we can have a photo thread as well where people could upload all the shenanigans goings on as they happen.

IE propping up the bar, rolling in the mud, camp fire sing-alongs, cloud chasers, pastie eating competition ronaldo ,  and any other hilarity that may ensue.

In my experience of not going to Vapefest, not that many pictures are posted....

I don't know if that's because everyone is too selfish to share or just too pissed to take any....

I reckon we might have more of a chance of seeing the action this year courtesy of teethcv who will obviously be slightly tipsy, but keen to share...

I won't be a VF, but this time tomorrow, I will be relaxing outside of our tent with a large vodka and something in hand at Lulworth Castle ready for a fab festival. Reception there is carp and tapatalk won't let you upload photos, so you may have to wait til we get back, but we'll have fun and I'll miss you all

My pair of phone batteries have arrived in time for vapefest, so I'll have one and a spare - my phone battery was on its last legs, but I have to admit that my main power concern will be keeping myself in vaping batteries so my external battery pack will be souping up my batteries in a rota!

Other issue is getting photos online, if I take snaps on my phone its easy to pop to my instagram account but much harder to add to forum. If my photos are on camera I have no way of loading up via phone...so it is a difficult job to link and I cant find my samsung lead thatll read a sd card reader -- and again its yet more gear to stuff in my bags. It already looks like i'm leaving home forever in my camping corner

i'll only be away at VF on Saturday will be here the rest of the time hubby is driving there and back same day, We have 5 cats at home we can't leave along for to long otherwise would have a house filled with mice, bats and frogs bad enough at night as it is,

lairey... you've just brought back more memories I'd forgotten. Went 'skinny dipping' at Lulworth Cove with a girlfriend back in the late 60s, when I was lodging in Wareham, just down the road. Wouldn't do it now, I'd scare myself never mind the natives, and probably get arrested.

ruffdog... I'll be popping in and out, just in case someone puts up pics they shouldn't and might be worth a 'bargaining' chip somewhere down the line.

It's a beautiful part of the country, and the fact that the festival and camping is within the castle grounds makes it even more special.  The finale on Sunday night will have fireworks over the castle and an amazing light show on the face of the castle, it really is spectacular, very excited now!

For those going, you can upload photos from your phone in the usual way - go to the mobile site, scroll to the very bottom of the page and press Desktop, in the bottom right corner:


Then create a thread as usual, and use the "add image to post" button to upload to Postimage.


Use the resize function to avoid using too much data!

When finished, at the very bottom of every page is a link that will switch back to the mobile version, if you prefer that format for mobile browsing:
