I was just clearing the remnants of the Christmas decorations out of the loft, and came across a present from last year that I'd completely forgotten to give to my daughter.
Such a shame - she'd have really loved that puppy...

Actually, I have to be honest, a few years ago I left my Xmas shopping far too late, and ended up calling in at the garage just before midnight to get it sorted out - you know how it is. I thought I'd really made a borax of it, but my 17 year old daughter was over the moon with the "L" plates I got her. She squealed with delight, hugged me, called me the best dad in the world... lovely...
I still don't understand why she went out to look in the driveway, though
