Hey guys, I really need some help and advice here...
I've just bought an IPV V2 and its just not doing it for me? I'm using a kanger pro tank 2 and really struggling to vape with it?
I've also got a vision 2 spinner on the go with a cheap aspire tank fitted and the spinner is winning hands down
proper going on a downer so some advice and wisdom is needed
Cheers Dave

You'll probably need to be a bit more specific with your issue - I don't have an IPV myself but its a high powered box mod and I think a fair few people on here have one they like and certainly it shouldn't be being out vaped by a spinner.
Whats wrong with it exactly?

Some details would be helpful with your problem. Settings on your IPV2 wattage set? Tanks coil OHMS. Have your tried the Aspire on the IPV2? What battery have you got in the IPV2?

Have you tried the aspire tank on the ipv? I would think the aspire gives a better vape than the kanger. The tank makes more difference than the mod a lot of the time. If you really want the best out of your ipv, it's suggest an rba (or even better an rda) if you're confident enough to have a go at building your own coils. I have the sigelei 50w which uses the same chip and the vape is fantastic with rba's/rda's

A protank 2 is a fairly basic single coil, you won't be able to use much of the power at Your disposal with it. Unless you rebuild the coil yourself and fit it with a microcoil and Cotton wick.

I use an aerotank on my IPV2 with Virtual Vape coil. My protanks don't seem to like being used on it either, even once microcoiled.

yes we need more info on what exactly you do not like? I have an IPV2 used mostly with a trident RDA or the Orieco Storm RDA and it's rocks. I don't care for the feel of it though tbh I find the fire button is on the wrong end (or the 510)
The only thing A pro tank did for it was leak !!! and vape as normal at 8 - 9 w. better than the clouper dna30 that wont even fire a PT due to the wide fire pin.
IPV Scratches really easily, the 510 isn't quite level and the screen is / was scratched. It's ok but £65 was steep (I still prefer the feel of my svd even if it is close to being a pretty resistance meter / paperweight. )

I've got the kit to make my own coil and I'm going to have a bash at the weekend!

If I switch to my MPV with the same tank it will vape like a gudden, I think the answer is to build my own coil and give that a go!

I am using a Nautilus at the moment, (not as good on the IPV2 as my Nature Vape Midi) but also used a dripper (whole new world opened up) and have a Kayfun Lite to build, so far the rebuilables are far better on this box of tricks.

Before you go burning your vaping savings, I suggest looking into an air control for that protank. May just totally change your mind about it all!
I'm sure someone could link to the best one for you.

So the power cuts out after 4 secs on the higher setting, this could be a weak battery or connection problem. Give the battery and the terminals a good clean with IPA, meths or vodka and the same for the atty connection. And check the adjuster screw in the 510 connection in making contact by unscrewing a bit at a time until the atty won't sit flush.

Sounds like a plan, I'll give that a shot tomorrow as I've had 4 bottles of Brahma and those little screws to take the back off need some proper care
