The high was, without a doubt, stumbling across this forum. I was in two minds whether or not to post. I seem to have an ism about asking for help.. But I'm so glad I did. I was, and still am amazed at how generous you lot are with your time and general support. You even put up with my teen angsty style drivel back in those first difficult days of converting and it really did make a big difference. I owe you guys a big debt of gratitude.
Low was trying unsuccessfully to convince an Indian restaurant owner that using my e cigarette was not illegal.

Still cant get over how much I wanted a look a like e cig, i couldnt care less now, everyone is used to seeing me with the Riva, they dont bat an eye lid! Congratulations both on your daughter & your 2 month anniversary Josie . . . I doubt that you'll be the last 'convert ' with those thoughts . . . I wonder if it's because an ecig look alike is somehow a familiar comfort and that's why many of us started off with them. Similarly, I also wonder Hissie, if those smoker's that won't even contemplate using a ecig whatever it's form, are in some why frightened of 'failure' so it's easier to dismiss the concept completely, rather than giving them a go.

I just think they feel it's easier to smoke than the "faff" on of charging batteries & filling carts or using atties.
Also, they don't like the weird looks I get when using my e-cig in public.

Their loss then Hissie if that's what really concerns them . . . we can't win them all, we know it works.

Yup totally their loss. In fact I don't think I could go back to smoking for many reasons.

I know folk who won't entertain vaping because e-cigs don't look like analogs. They would rather smoke than be seen with any e-cig...very bizarre. If I come into money, I may have to purchase a few of the mods mentioned I was one such hissie but once I tried a Tornado, I was converted. I still don't use my Screwdriver out and about as even I think it looks weird! I do tend to use my 'ordinary' 510s and 901s, together with their respective charging cases when I need to be a little more discrete. Fox

Going back to loving my baby monster....what has happened to verey? He's still about Hissie, he's very kindly mending my Goldrush for me . . . I should imagine the Christmas & New Year celebrations are the reason why we've not seen him around.

Misses
- The Electronic Cigarette. My first ecig purchased from groupon. An analogue look alike. Complete rubbish but it got me into vaping.
- Titan Tank. A big improvement. So good it got me off smoking in a matter of days and so good i soon realised I wanted longer battery life and a bigger tank! Actually the atomisers in these are rock solid.
- The Rok Star. Soon got fed up with the air flow adjustment and unscrewing the tank by mistake. Everything is bespoke which means replacing atomises and batteries is expensive. Even with the air flow adjustment I could never get the draw how I liked it never mind get it to stay there. - Bud tank atomisers - on paper looked good. Nice big clear tank and very cheap. Had a couple and tried it on a few different batteries and never produced much vapour and the taste was always ruined by the taste of the cheap plastic mouth piece.
Hits
- the lavatube. Just fantastic. Great performance and total freedom of choice when it comes to atomisers and batteries.
- SD Key ring. Worth it just for the piece of mind it gives me. It means I wont have to resort to smoking ever, ever , ever even if I break or lose my lavatube.
- 510 XXXXL MEGA DUAL COIL CARTOMIZER. My current favourite. Big tank, just the right draw. Masses of vapour and flavour and a piece of cake to refill.
- 6ml Puff Tank. Great to have such a huge tank and looks good on a lavatube. Replacement cartomisers are quite cheap. For me the downside is the draw is too light and its a bit fiddly to refill.

2011...I liked GLV2 Supermini - takes 16340 batteries. really tiny mod, great build quality, and for such a small thing, it hits very hard and consistent. Lovely button too. I like this mod more than any other I've tried so far. LR306 attiesThese gave me the best vaping experience ever. massive flavour and TH...unfortunately, they give me the worst headaches ever, so I've had to give up on them. Gutted, as they really are brilliant atties. Pinkspot juicesThese were made for 306's. Tons of flavour and TH, and a bit more affordable if bought from Liberty flights. Perfect buns is the most amazing flavour I've tried...I've always liked the RY4s, and this is similar but I like it more. Chibi carto tankCheap and cheerful tank that holds the Boge LR's. Been using it for nearly a month, and not had a single leak. A good buy at under a tenner posted from the USA. Worst 2011 Bud atomisers - just awful - dry raspy hits, non flavour. CE2's - as above Tank atomisers - gave me decent TH and the convenience factor, but very little flavour meant not a lot of satisfaction overall. Juice fed Box mods - tried a couple, not for me. found them too awkward to hold. Tube mods all the way from now on. Alpha Ultra - initially loved it...soon dropped off as got exasperated with the switch mechanism. You know when a reviewer says a mod 'hits every time'...well, the Alpha is the opposite lol. Wants for 2012 A tank atomiser that works, just one will do Ego-C ordered, here's hoping.

I've bit the bullet and ordered an AW 2900 mah today and I'm hoping that will give me a whole day on a single charge.
