If a Scaff builds a scaffold at your house it hardly benefits me. Only if he builds it at my house do I benefit and that's on the assumption I need the use of the scaffold

They certainly deserve a good wage (unlike the prima donna football players) for the chances they have to take, but I'm not a fan of Hamilton anyway, so it does irk a tad.............

Sorry about that Greg... I'm trying to say that people who do jobs that we wouldn't do, but benefit us, should get a decent wage.

People that do 'sod all' apart from pursuing their sport and hobby should not get paid extortionate payments.

I do know that this will not change any time soon, because of the lemings that buy into these subscription services, and that makes me sad.

Never been a fan of motor sports but i do appreciate the risks involved.
I prefer a more genteel sport...golf, and you don't see mega rich golfers ....ok there is the odd one or two, maybe a few more than that i suppose at a push, but they are really good........ is this hole big enough yet?

Coming from an era when we lost way too many young drivers, I say, let them have good money. Whats important is what they choose to do with it. A lot of sportsmen reinvest in their sport to give something back.

Over the last 40 years, I have spent thousands of Euros/Pounds going to the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Monaco, Germany, Hungary and Belgium for GP's and can honestly say it was worth every penny spent.

I'd sell a body organ (not that they'd be in much demand.... ) to go to a Grand Prix....it's on my bucket list.......but I'd want to do it proper.....Pit lane & all sorts.............

Sorry, but an F1 driver takes fewer risks than 'white van man' on the M25... which is good.

I just don't get the glorification of them. Racing was when Senna, Mansell and Prost were on the scene... must admit I haven't seen a full race for 10 years... so who am I to judge.
