ok, I am worried now as I believe the battery in the kit I ordered is a 650mah, am I right in thinking it may not last me all day now ??? If you are / were an average smoker i.e. 20 a day or less then the 650 should last a full work shift , but as all newbies soon find out it's always better to have spares and spare spares , just in case

Mrsmac, a 650 battery is going to last you far longer between charges than a mini 510 that is usually only about 180mAh Maccafan, glad to hear your Kr808 has arrived Yes, quite a few of us have used OKsmokey, their DF (Double Flavours) are worth trying

Nah, we wont get sick of you at all MrsM You could always just buy one Riva 1100mAh battery - it will be compatible with all your other 650 kit.

Thanks for the calcs.. Ohms law does not apply to batteries and rate of discharge but I suspect you are not far off from what I have read into other's experience... I guess you are referring to the fact that the voltage is continuously varying as it discharges, discharge curves and the like. I was just using a couple of average values to give an indication of the level of current and why 100mAh doesn't last long - sorry if this was misleading. As you say, though, people's experience with these batteries is a good guide and there seems to be a fairly general agreement on the size of battery you need to last a day.

Thanks so much for asll the help in this thread. Sorry I went awol, I had shoved this to the back of my mind as have had confirmation that i'm moving on 20th Feb.
So i estimate to spend approx £130 in cigs between now and then. But I could get set up with this for a lot less, am i right?! So that money saved could pay for the bathroom floor at the very least.
Feel like i need someone to make the decision for me! "Right you want this, buy it from here, it costs this much" LOL !

I have been vaping since the new year and not smoked since then (kind of gave up in November, but slipped a bit over xmas). I have so far spent about £50. For that I have an SD keyring, some juice and kanger cartomisers which has got me through until now. I also hope to get my Riva 1100 kit in the post today along with some boge cartomisers and more juice. This should be enought to last me through to the end of feb I reckon, maybe end of march. So my spend is about £20 a month ish and that includes the start up costs. I was the same as you, I wanted something small and discreet. The SD keyring is great for that. But I am now finding the battery can be an issue when I can't get near a charger. I was just going to buy a second keyring, but opted for the Riva kit instead as it actually, value wise, didn't work out any worse. And I wanted to try something else. So if you are adamant you want smaller ecigs, go for two of..... www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-sd-keyring-ecig~266 (about £25 delivered) Or one of the keyRings above and one of the following sets.... www.freedomvape.co.uk/shop/article_10/Ego_Riva-Starter-Kit--XL.html?shop_param=cid%3D2%26aid%3D10%26 (about £30 delivered, with some free juice) Also get some cartomisers. Either kanger or boges..... www.freedomvape.co.uk/shop/article_1063-001/5-x-Boge-Cartomizers-510.html?shop_param=cid%3D7%26aid%3D1063-001%26And a drip tip, which is just a couple of pounds... www.freedomvape.co.uk/shop/article_1050/Delrin-Drip-Tip.html?shop_param=cid%3D6%26aid%3D1050%26Then get some juice, I went for pick n mix packs from these suppliers. That should keep you going for a while. Note - I am a newbie, but this is from the advice I have been given and has worked well for me so far.
