If I had received this 3rd istick first, I wouldn't have 3 of them now A 1.4ohm coil in an rg200 set on 3v and it is burning Am I best putting a higher ohm coil in? I have gone through so many coils the last few days I have a pot of them to clean and some of them need recoiling, the coiling fairies have missed me out this week

I have noticed on my istick and protanks 2/aerotank that anything under 1.5 and can dry hut even on lowest setting yet a 1.8 ohm coil I can crank up to 15w no issues.

Not that I know a lot, but I read somewhere that the istick doesn't like coils below 1.6 ohms.

Just an idea, but have you tried the same tank and coil on a different iStick? My first stick fried everything I put onto it to begin with, but seems ok now, and the pink/red/cerise one seems ok as well. They are very 'temperamental' I find. Fun, small, neat, cute etc but temperamental just the same

Thanks both, serves me right for being more careful building my coils and counting wraps to build a specific ohm rather than throwing 8 or 9 wraps and seeing what happens. Will give a higher one a go

Yes sleedale adding the 3rd has upset the others too (now I know how my sisters felt when I was born ) To be fair this is the lowest coil I have tried, back up to 2 ohms for the istick I think.

I went the other way, a 2.4 ohm coil in my Kayfun mini and plenty of cotton (gave up with pro tanks, especially so on the I the isticks). I then have a range of istick "W's" above and below what I desire for that particular juice.

I am beginning to think that no. 3 istick will be for the mini nautis, it seems happy with them and if no. 3 is happy, I am happy. No. 1 & 2 can do all the hard work with other tanks. It is definitely like me and my older sisters this having 3 isticks lark, but I am sure the family will settle into their roles soon

I've had my little pinky for a few short days but using 1.6 & 1.8 in Protank 3s & messing about with the power hasn't caused me any issues so far but... I had a sore throat & now have the mother of all colds so can't wait to try it when I'm in good health.

Ooh, thanks decoy when I sort out my coils I will give that a try, I do tend to overstuff If you do bung a 1 ohm coil in remember you won't be able to reduce below 9 watts. If you use a 1.8 or 2 ohm coil then you can go as low as 4.5 - 5 watts.
