I have got to the stage that I am fed up flipping the dropper tops off concentrates bottles to get the syringe in, replace it so it doesn't spill, to then get it off again later. So I have had the brainwave (I know, I am not quick on the uptake:D ) of using blunt needles on the syringes.
So I am looking for advice on the size of needles that go inside the dropper tops, will fit on which syringes and the best place to order from (no rush so china an option)
TIA

The concentrates come in so many different types of bottles that I didn't find a 'one size fits all solution'
A needle small enough to go in through the dropper top hole is so small that I found it hard to draw the liquid up in PG and impossible in VG.
My 'solution' was to mix by weight so I don't have to take the dropper tops off. Just drip/drop until the desired weight is reached.
Printer cartridge refill sites often have different size blunts.

I found a 21G (green top) fits most dripper tops but with a 1 inch needle you wont be able to get to around half the bottle. It's probably best if you don't try turning the bottle upside down with the needle in it. I did and got myself a Banana concentrate shower

I am with smiffee on this, weighing with some cheap electronic scales and dripping is the way to go. You soon learn to squirt instead of drip and get pretty close to desired amount.

Ok smifee and Brambles this probably has a really simple solution that escapes me at the moment but converting ml to grams, how to?

That's what I was thinking igual finding out the density of the concentrates or just go for a 1 to 1 conversion? I think my brain may melt if I have to work out densities and obviously each concentrate would be different

Several juice-mix calculator apps have the option to show grams as well as ml (and drops). If you switch over to mixing by weight, you can really simplify things by decanting your nicotine, pg and vg into 100ml twist-top squeeze bottles.

Listen, there's a very simple fix it here reddragon Remove plunger out of syringe, stick finger over nozzle of syringe and just remove normal lid off concentrate bottle, squeeze concentrate as is (feeder nozzle in place) into open end of syringe until the required amount is in - remember the measurement marks are correct as syringes are used upside down! wiggle plunger stick back in, just so liquid cant get out, invert, take finger off, let liquid settle and then gently push plunger up to expel air. no fuss, no faff and correct measure

If it's PG or in PG 1ml = 1.04g If it's VG or in VG 1ml = 1.24g Mixing testers I put a 5ml or 10ml bottle on the scales. Glass dripper bottles for Nic, small syringe for PG, small syringe for VG, concentrate straight from the bottle. Larger quantities I use a plastic beaker and pour Nic, VG, PG & concentrates straight from the bottles. Not for OCD sufferers:- it's 2/100ths of a gram light but a drop is 3/100ths of a gram. What to do

Funny - I was looking up weighing recipes rather than using ml. I don't know if ejuicemeup does weights or not but this chap has a calculator that does. The link is on the first page of the thread. www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/480587-new-calculator-try.htmlUnfortunately for me they are both PC based, so I can't tell you if they are any good or not Looking reading around the weight of concentrate is the same as that for PG. From what I have read your scale will need to go to two decimal places - I have no idea if that is normal for these scales or not!
