Tourmaline, you will love it!! Im a newbie and have 2 small titans but have now ordered the Riva, cant wait to get it!!Vaping has all the plus points of smoking but none of the negatives.....I love it!!With the juices, tastes so much better too!!

Another newbie too, almost a week vaping Like jacci, I got a titan compact, but only got one, Hopefully my Riva will come today so I will not panic when my little Titan runs out of charge

Have received the kit but have not had time to sit down and try it yet! I don't really want my kids to mess with the battery whilst charging so really need to do it when they're in bed. I don't really want to have to leave the PC on for 8 hours so will probably bring the batteries to work. I know I'll get used to it but it all seems a bit daunting!!

The batteries will have a factory charge so you can give it a try, put one battery on charge whilst you try the other it will take 2 - 3 hours to charge, there is no point leaving it on any longer.

dmarks, did it not come with a special 3 pin plug that you plug the usb charger into so you can charge it in any mains socket (out of kiddies reach) rather than through your pc?

As Des said, there will be a factory charge on the batteries so you can start vaping straight away and have the other plugged in to charge it completely.

You've paid for it now so you might as well have a go - get the kids in bed early tonight and give yourself half an hour of "me-time" just to have a go. I know it all seems daunting but honestly it isnt half as bad as you think right now, I remember the feeling very well!

I finally managed to get it all going!!! I can't believe the vape and throat hit I get! Sometimes it tastes a bit burnt - does that mean I need to add some juice? Also, how often should I replace the cartridge? Also what is the cone for? Do I need it? I'm sorry for all the stupid questions! I also want to give a big thanks to Lee from Alba Vapers - he's been a star getting me all set up!

Yes, when you start getting a burnt taste that's the cue to fill it with a few drops (between 5 -10) DO NOT continue to vape before filling of you risk burning it more and it can be very hard to get rid of the burnt taste once it starts.

The cone helps to keep the atomiser/cartomiser warm so that you are not heating it up from cold every time. It also looks nicer.


Did you get Atomisers and Cartomisers?

Our supplier are Fab are'nt they, so helpful!

Not stupid at all dmarks . . . we were all in the same position as you in the beginning.

Did you get atomisers or cartomiser's with your kit?

The burnt taste will be because either your cartridge or cartomiser needs refreshing will juice . . . you'll come to recognise the signs automatically after a bit.

The cone is partly for cosmetic value and it does help the airflow/vape.

Yes, a burnt taste does mean you are running on dry & need to add more juice. The cartridges can be washed out & used many times over. Plus you can restuff them with blue foam -

The cone is mainly decorative, though it does, to a small extent, make a difference to the draw.

remember while your using your new toys you are a vapor not a smoker and its a great feeling.
Any flavours you try and dont like remember you can place them in the swaps also try classifieds if you want to try some without splashing too much cash as quite often some offer them for a small fee. That said the juices are cheap to buy and try any way, Try a pick and mix and vary your flavours you will have a pleasant surprise.

Thanks for the replies - it came with an atomiser. Would I be better off with a cartomiser as seen lots of people talking about them? If so which one would be compatible with my Ego Riva 510? It can all get very confusing!! I could end up spending a fortune!!
