Some commentators are predicting the decline of the mechanical mod, I loved mine and they are now collection dust. New high power regulated regulated mods allow less experienced vapers to cloud chase with less risk and no battery drop off. Regulated mods are also getting smaller, gone are the days when you have to carry a light sabre.
Mechs are almost bomb proof and you can add a Kick to regulate it, but you need to understand battery safety.
e: wish I put in a WTF is a mech/not used a mech choice

Both for me, look so much better than most regulated and you can add a kick anyhow, well for the wattage I vape at , hopefully a temp one soon too.......

Good point about the Kick blakey is probably gonna give me a hard time on that one at the next LSE meet, but they as they only go to 20 W they belong in the I love my mecs answers.

Still cant beat a good brass nemesis with a kraken. Vapes liek a dream and will outlast the cockroaches and lawyers when the bombs land.

Option 2 for me VapingBad . . . though the number of regulated Mods I've tucked away, they probably won't be necessary! It's the physiological safeguard for me.

I'd be in the......never used one......category VapingBad, but somehow I feel as though I should own at least one, just in case sort of reason, but if I'm honest, I don't feel as though I know enough about them and safety regarding them so I'll probably stick with regulated ones and hope they will always be available

I use one mech mod that gets a little use ( Kato Box mod) but have really caught the regulated mod bug with a IPV2, 2x Isticks, 1Smart 20 coz it was cheep lol, and a RDNA40 winging its way here. There are some cracking looking Mech mods, but from early on I have taken a liking to all things box shaped oh oh nearly forgot, and a MVP 2.0 that's been hardly used and sits in the vaping cupboard hoping one of the box mods fail and it can get some use.

I have 4 or 5 mech mods, that just don't get a look in now......I'm afraid it's regulated all the way for me....Never thought I'd take to box mods, but I have..........In quite a big way..........There's certainly less to go wrong with a mech mod,but I've just never got the same vape from one (With or without kick)............I've voted no.2, although my last remaining Nemesis could be heading for the classies.......along with a few other unused mods..........

What's wrong with 20w? For me I rarely go above 13.5w unless I'm firing multiple coils Plenty of regulated devices only go to 20w But I agree that they should still go in the I love my mechs because even though you are using a drop in module the mod is still a mech

I also love the simplicity of Mechs along with the size of a tube in a holster on my belt. Saying that, I bought a VTR off fleaBay last week, pending cutting and grinding for genni use on desk.
