I don't know iLardyboy as have never owned one, hopefully someone else will. If it is not transferable I hope that resale prices reflect this.

These two customers had a charging issue when charging with the battery still in the device, and this just seems to have affected the updated version like mine that bleeps if you insert the battery the wrong way round, as far as I knw there has been no mention of this on the launch model .
It could be these two charged using an incorrect charger, I just don't know. As I said I always remove the battery to charge.

That's the one thing that bugged me about this purchase, there is no user instructions other than those printed on the outside of the box, for an item at this price point I thought it was a disgrace.
4 months warranty from Vapour Shark, which I would think could be challenged as it should be reasonably expected to last longer imo.

TBH I don't think that the VaporShark is a premium product, they have nowhere near the build quality or after sales of the ProVari or ZNA. But it is more than expensive enough to have a year warranty and good after sales service.

This is where my rant last night came from. "Zip charging" on the side of the box with no more information. All ok if your a member of a forum and like us chat and pass information around, many just buy plug in and expect to work like ever other £150 device they have purchased. I purchased this in the UK so it has a 1year guarantee, that is a consumer law VS have no say on if they want to sell their products in the UK. Problem is to apply your right a UK vendor might have to take the hit and I have nothing but respect for UK vendors and the service I have received so feel this would be unfair.

@letsavit with the flickering 500 mA is that on the wireless or USB? Might makes sense on the wireless if the sender is connecting, deciding there is not enough current, disconnecting and repeating the process. I have not seen the white USB meter flicker, but I have seen the blue one do it and it could just be the way devices draw current. BTW a review of the metre. Using 2 A would be fine (maybe a bit hot with the cover on) with VTCs & 25Rs as their Fast Charge rating is 4 A, but would be too much for many batteries. But they must have a custom charging board in they to handle that which points to any charging problems being in VS parts and not the DNA. iLardyboy I wouldn't worry too much as this has only been reported to affect 2 units and I assume that the warranty has plenty of time left on it. I bought it of the classies, it's not a month old yet. How does VaporShark's warranty work, do I need a receipt or anything else? Send them an email and they will email you a parcel stamp to post back, you're covered for a little while mate. that's the cut & paste reply I got from them with regards the safety of one of thier devices.

How do I change between Celsius and Fahrenheit? Go into temp adjusting mode (lock then hold the up+down buttons for 5 sec) than scroll down past 200° F.

Will look at review later thanks, yes 500mah and my very basic test to see what "zip charging" was all through the USB. Can't monitor usb via wireless easy, the USB port has to sit on the pad. I'm just using 1amp usb if out and about and wireless at 1amp at home. The board it has in it lowers the Amps as the battery takes charge so maybe the full 2amps is required to get zipped charge.....! I'm guessing it needs at least 1amp to power the red led on the fire switch. iLardyboy. Yea don't worry too much, it's only two, usual safety applies...enjoy it, it's a nice device....

One more question guys, does TP kick in every time you take a vape? I have it set at 450F and 22W.

Depends what wicking material your using, I was told to stay around 410 for cotton, and yes, as soon as it detects the temp at 410 it will kick in.
