Well it turned up today a shiny iPhone 5s, arrived about half eleven this morn, so was backing up my samsung when.... the power went out, went down the pub for tea and it was back on when we came home about 8ish, and have just finished swapping everything over, contacts were easy, thanks Faceache, pics took a while to suss out, in the end was able to drag and drop to puter and then sync, and email usually the worst, cos iOS doesn't like Virgin e-mail, but it was simples, so I have all the basics done, no doubt a bit more tweaking to do, but I is happy and well done to the Electricity peeps who were out digging up the street as the fault was underground

And I luuurve the fingerprint scanner for unlocking, far easier than entering a pin code I think this has to be the most innovative way to safely access your phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy which I love but, I wish they would introduce the fingerprint scanner.

They are no more fragile than any other phone. Overpriced?.... Probably, ....fragile ? ....haven't found that to be so. Each to their own but I would never swap my iPhone, iPod, iPad for any android equivalent. Everything about an Apple device is ease of use and reliability. For me that's paramount. As I say though....each to their own

Having used both Flagship Android phones and a couple of iPhone6s I can say the icloud restore on iPhone is brilliant and Google could learn from it. Also the fingerprint scanner on the iPhone is far better than Samsung's efforts. The cameras are equivalent to Android phones and IOS doesn't look like a dogs dinner anymore. Even freeing up the controls over the phone slightly with allowing 3rd party keyboards helps so you can avoid that dreadful Apple on screen keyboard.
But considering I could get a 32Gb Note 4 with 128GB SDcard and a massive 4G data allowance for a lot less than a 64GB iPhone6+ with 2GB of data I would have to be utterly insane to get the iPhone. Apple's prices are as mad as a box of frogs.
Oh and iTunes is bad enough even Beelzebub himself would find it torturous to use!
I don't hate Apple products, I just think they are good products but horribly over-priced compared to the competition.

Well said kibbster HTC Desire Eye being delivered tomorrow Phone - free Minutes - 250 (more than I'll ever need) text - unlimited (do people still SEND texts?) Data - UNLIMITED Cost - £29.99 per month Work out what that would cost for an equivalent iPhone Oh and if you dont know what the Eye is, it was only released October, and has a 5.2" screen (matters to me as I use my phone as my satnav) review here
