Best batteries for a Provari are the AW's:

As I'm up at stupid o'clock this morning, there are still a few left . . . severely tempted by the Black/Red Hybrid - can I justify another Provari?

Justifying a sub £100 provari is like justifying a pie at 5.05 am when you've been up since 2am Perpetua.... (only at 5.05am cos they're 50p cheaper than 4.55am)

You are all failing in the shopping department and have been fooled by the likes of fast tech and robby LOL

I thought all these would be gone by 6am! I was wrong LOL. there are still 8 left! (4 standard black; 3 gold metallic and one mini emerald)

When I got my first provari, 2.5 mini I only ever used AW IMR 18490,s and that's the only batteries I owned.
The mini only takes the 18350 as standard, if you buy an extension cap you can also use 18490 batts.

With the standard unit you can only use 18490's out of the bow and 18650 with the extension cap.

In my P3's I use VTC4's and 25r's and they fit and work just fine. I'd expect these batteries to work in the mini and standard too although I can't confirm as 18650 won't fit in my mini.
No idea why Provape state only use AW IMR's although it is the only type they sell on their website, make of that what you will.

Massive thanks to @johanino for SMS/email notification...
I resigned myself to even at this price not being able to afford one but I had a picture on the screen and Lorraine, walking past, said "that's nice, what is it" (note this is the first time my wife has said such a thing about my shiny things). Then asked how much I wanted it... And would it help pull me from the dread and stupid duel fueling (I have periods of great dysfunction when I mess every wick up and fail to maintain properly ... "Yes but we can't" I says... Ensuing pushes ensued and I relented and have a standard emerald green one coming my way.

I had a brief "eek" moment just now when I realised they needed button tops but checking I have two 18500 with buttons (and a few little magnets as well, thinking about it)... Happy happy Tom

Now.. .dare I buy an extension to open up 18650's as well (I tend to like short mods, so perhaps a spurious purchase). I'll be good.
