Hey everyone I just upgraded my Apollo Endevour ego kit. I had some amazing help from some members on here, I looked all over the internet and local shops and I got a Innokin MVP 20W with a GeniTank. It's absolutely incredible! I'm so happy with what I've got, partly because I can use it to charge my phone lol. I was struggling not having a stinky, but after having this for just a day I've not had a single craving. I'm still so new to vaping but I know I'm on the right track now, there's no going back to stinkies Anyway, I was wondering if I started mixing my own juice if it would work out cheaper? I know there's a lot of information on the forum, but I just can't get my head around it all. If anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it

Great news isaacbale94Regarding mixing it's really quite easy. All you need is nic base, PG, VG and some flavourings. There a calculator on the forum to work out your recipes and loads of recipes in the mixing section. The easiest way to start mixing is with one shot concentrates such as TJuice. Oh you'll need some empty bottles and a few different syringe sizes. Give it a go and once you have all the stuff you'll get help here if you need it.

Most DIY juice vendors do starter kits with everything you need to get mixing i bought my first kit from www.postmodernsmoking.com/ depends how much and how many concentrates you use and how much nicotine as to cost per ml of juice but it will be a damned site cheaper than buying ready made. I worked it out when i made my first mix using the starter kit from there with a single flavour concentrate that it cost me just over £1.50 i think to make 30ml of juice at 8mg strength. The mixing part is easy, getting the taste how you personally like it is a bit of trial and error and you need to let the stuff steep so you'll maybe have to wait 3 or 4 weeks just to find out if you need to tweak the recipe which can be frustrating if you're impatient like me. Anyway it's nice to see yet another person succeeding at quitting smoking.

Oh, and I'm in love with Red Astaire, Blackjack, and T-Juice Black n Blue That makes starting a mixing career quite straightforward for you isaacbale94 . . . concentrates from Tjuice, use givemejuice for a 15% discount: www.t-juice.com/product-category/concentrates/Neither require much if any steeping either, so that's a bonus! A starter mixing kit from @ukflavours perhaps: www.ukflavours.com/59-diy-kitsDelivery is free from Sarah also.

Perpetual, thanks for that, they look like the best starter kits I've found what's the difference between PG and VG based nic? Does it just effect the mixing ratios, or is there more to it? Thank you.

Thank you. PG is more runny like water VG is thicker like a runny syrup. VG wil give you more cloud and a smoother vape. PG will give you more throat hit. Some say PG carries flavour better can't say i've personally noticed a difference. Depends on what setup you have but some atomizer heads don't keep up well with high vg juice they just can't wick quickly enough with the thicker fluid.

Most people use pg nic unless intolerant as its easier to handle isaacbale94. Assume your flavouring is pg unless stated otherwise. Use the forum calculator to make your mixes to your own taste. Most T-juice concentrates are used at 10 - 15% start low as you can add more flavour easier than trying to take away. Good luck. Oh and yes it's very much cheaper to mix your own.

I've used both pg nic base and VG nic base. As I make most of my liquids 50/50 both are fine. However I do make one liquid in particular at 20 pg 80 VG, for my dripper. Hickory cider yum yum.

Thank you. PG will give you more throat hit, VG will give you the option to create more vapour . . . in reality other than clouds, I've not found much difference isaacbale94. What are you currently using and enjoy?
