One thing (probably among others) that prevents me from entertaining the idea of stopping vaping is the thought of no longer being quite on the same wavelength as my All-About buddies. scylla

Oh I'm so jealous - lol For me, vaping is not like smoking I WISH I felt that way tho' However, I am so grateful to have discovered e cigs. I vape away as much as poss, for as long as poss; at home I never put it down............ unless I'm smoking, cause I just need a 'real' one sooo much It's really wonderful it's a total replacement for 90% (?) of peeps I just want to get the message across to those for whom it isn't an instant success ......... DON'T GIVE UP ON IT. Vape even a little, it will mean you smoke less, & try to gradually increase the e cig use & decrease the baccy. (I worry about the folk that try vaping, find it doesn't blow them away, believe it should have done, then just reject it). If you're lucky, as most are, that's fab If not do keep at it!

Ken, Chrissie, Thanks for your comments. Lolli, Still, though, you are doing brilliantly. (I'm thinking that you smoke fewer cigarettes since you took up the ecig......) Which must be good.

Exactly (((nana))) It's still wonderful even when it's not 100% Don't want anyone to think it won't work for them - it's just a question of how many it saves them smoking - 100% 50% 10% - it's ALL still GOOD

Couldn't agree more with you Lolli It IS all good. Whether you use the e-cig to just cut down or give up the real cigs completely

I'd get on a plane and fly to Crete to cover you with kisses if I could Ken!!! A cyber one will have to suffice. Agrees with what everyone has said - I wouldn't have gone 5hours without a cigarette, come August I'll be into my 5month of vaping and not touching a single ciggy in that time. Think we should all feel rightly proud of our achievements whatever the length of time.

I do love a good cyber snog fest Ken. And! A mature man has sooooooooooo much going for him. Actually, being serious I thought after I'd posted you've done incredibily well because ciggies must be an awful lot cheaper than here - so it's even more credit to you that you've done so well.

Yep ciggys are still cheap here even with the recent price hike. I smoked Pall Mall which are 3.50 euro for 30. Bye the way I like a good cyber snog myself so thanks for making my day Perpetua. Ken.

Not been to Thassos Chrissie but loved Corfu.
Had to wrestle with myself between Corfu and Crete for early retirement.
Crete won as it has a better climate plus is bigger so more to see and less possible boredom.
Ken.

No idea what Thassos is like now Ken but when I stayed there on a camp site coming up to 30 years ago, it was so beautiful & unspoilt. Wonder the same about Agios Stefanos (the one on the North East coast of Corfu). When I stayed there, it was the first year the village had converted a few derelict buildings into holiday homes. I completely fell in love with the place & the people
