Its hard to say as Smok Customer Services are running in silent mode, its been reported that v6.0 doesn't burn the cotton and not sure if V6.0 is just a firmware upgrade or firmware upgrade + hardware change

The update to the firmware was V5.0, so they must have updated it again.

I wonder have they changed the hardware, I`ve seen reports of a vendor saying it doesn`t burn cotton but the vendor wasn`t named.

Just seen a picture posted on POTV of it showing V0006 so they have changed something. Surprised they haven't posted it on their website though.

I guess it depends  if V6 is a  hardware upgrade and not a firmware upgrade means anyone with V5 firmware isn't going to be a happy Easter bunny

Seems fairly certain they have changed something. Hopefully not to the detriment of those who bought the first version.

if batch 1 cant be updated to v0006 due to v6 being for new hardware , and the temp control IS fixed (unlikely) then they have shafted all the batch 1 buyers , well the ones who still actually have a working mod , so probably only about 8 people lmao

There is no actual proof that V0006 works yet with or without changes to the board. Pretty crappy underhand trading IMHO, they are a big player with a lot of loyal customers. No way to treat them Still nothing on the SMOK website about V0006
