...The Smell of an Analogue? I'm Pretty Sure That I Won't Be Smoking Again (Since 9th December, I've Lit Just One Roll-Up...& Ditched it After 2 Drags!...) But the SMELL is So Much Better than the Taste!!! (I'm Not Talking 'bout the Stale, Lingering on Clothing/Hair/Breath Odour...Just the Fragrance from Someone's Smoke!) Working Today, 2 Builders Were on Site as Well....I Smelt the Fag Smoke Before I Spotted Where the Tea Break Was Happening!...& Then the Other One Lit up a Panatella!! Was n't Tempted to Pinch One to Smoke...Joined 'em Wiv Me MVP....But Seems I'm Still in Luv Wiv the SMELL of Fresh (!) Smoke!!! I'm Guessing I'm in a Minority Here!.....Mainly By the Widespread Use of the 'Stinky' Moniker That's Prevalent Here!! :DBut Wondering!.........

yourgurnard is your phone doing that to your text. The capitalisation is hurting my head!! The fresh smell of a ciggie is nice. That smell of someone who had a ciggie 5 minutes ago is absolutely rancid though!

Not for me, sorry. When I started off with this I knew I would have to have a complete departure from all things tobacco if I were ever to truly succeed in taking a harm reduction approach to my nicotine addiction. I have never used tobacco flavoured juices and found in a very short time that I had stopped relating to cigs. Every day at work I find myself standing with smokers either at work or social events and not once would I trade. I used to smoke 60 full strength a day for the majority of my smoking life (34 years) but did cut down following a heart attacking 10 years ago to between 15-20. Even if they end up taxing this to the same amount that they did when I smoked then I would still choose this. I don't mean for this to come across as pompous in any way, it's just my own personal experience of something that hopefully means I get slightly longer to spend with my family

If I see someone smoking I try to avoid going near them.
Unfortunately I live in an end terrace house in a scheme where another row of terrace houses back onto us.
My next-door neighbour smokes as does the family across the back and both of these families consider it a good idea to stand on their back steps and smoke.
Depending on which way the wind blows, I get wafts of smoke coming over into my garden and it is a right PITB.
I have tried to make the back garden a place where we can sit and enjoy it of a summer's day but with neighbours who smoke, that is impossible, so now I will turn the back garden into a veg patch and then we can at least enjoy some fruits from it.

No, it don't Me neither . . . though I try not to get too ' evangelical ' about it, having been a smoker for 36 years it would be hypocritical if I did.

Absolutely Perpetua. Loads of smokers quiz me about vaping, mainly ones who have tried it. My response is that I was lucky to take to it instantly. I knew straight away it would work for me. And the cost saving is immense. I also know that I could happily smoke a real cig if I wanted to.

I rarely smell cigarette smoke locally, but go into town and the smell hits you immediately, it is impossible to avoid the smokers. When I was a smoker I never used to smoke outside , just didn't enjoy it for the same reason I never vape outside either, I have tried it but didn't really need it, whereas at home as soon as I get on the laptop, out comes the vape gear, it's a habit that I cannot break.
