Finally bit the bullet and ordered a !little mech mod from slowtech.
Ordered an lpg styled mod as I've had a cunning plan ( baldric accent )
Going to chop the mod up and use it as an epipe switch/battery holder.
Need to find a bit of solid brass and some brass grub screws.
If it works it will mean a quicker more rugged epipe build.
If it doesn't work I've lost £8quid lol.
So here's to popping my cherry so to speak
No idea what shipping option to select so I opted for China post.

My last Fasttech delivery using China Post took only 7 days and still awaiting the Singapore Post one which was shipped on the same day. I've decided from now on to only use China post if offered.

Well if my plan does work I have a pipemaker that will make blank pipes in any style with a deeper bowl at trade prices for me, and might have to bulk order the mods to canabilise
All is riding on me figuring out nicest way of doing the neg connection.
My idea atmo is a brass insert inside pipe that is threaded with a grubscrew accessed through the side of pipe.
Just got to get a tap n die set that is small enough and work out shape and dimensions.
Then figure out how to thread a hole lol.
Been a long time since I have done anything like this.

I've only seen a few that have done it for me, but they have been one-off jobs. I'll know when I see the one!

Q BrenD As long as the body is over 55mm deep it can be done, so if you do find a unconverted pipe you like let me know and I'll see if its dooable.

I'll start trawling eBay etc. A nice pipe would take care of a lack of wood in my collection and the lack of a pipe
