You need to host an avatar on something like Photobucket. If you haven't got a photobucket account (it's free), then upload a pic here via using attachment & I'll host it for you.

To add the banner, you just need to copy & paste the link yo create into the signature box in your profile

Are you copying the right codes and pasting them in the right box I wonder Sue . . . did you see a banner format/design that you prefered?

Also if you can post a picture on the thread that you'd like to use, we can pop it in your avatar.
