I have just been to our local post office to send a package which contained a lithium battery. The post office would not take my package.  When asked what was in the package I rather stupidly told the truth. Seems telling the truth does not always pay. Well not with the post office. GRRRRRRRR............ Is there a way to send a lithium battery legitimately? I have had batteries sent to me that came via royal fail, from vendors, so how do they do it? My Hermes won't take them as I have already looked. Any suggestions other than tell them it is something else? |

I've told the woman before, that it's a sex toy that my ex wife left behind....she couldn't take it off me & get rid of me quick enough........That'll learn her......................

I have to admit to being generous with the truth and stating 'electrical components' or 'plumbing components'. The last package I sent had a bottle of juice in it, and the lady behind the counter was getting quite enthusiastic squeezing it and asked 'what's in the bottle?' so I said 'food colouring'! She looked at me askance, but still accepted it so no harm done  |
