If they are ICRs dafellon they are not the safest and poor current delivery (high internal resistance). The DNA40 is a special case it measures the voltage sag and has soft limiting that throttles back the wattage when the battery is struggling, and this is what the data-sheet says for the DNA40.

It'll work, but there are other, safer batteries that would work better. I'd personally recommend buy a couple of 25Rs if I had the sig. Now were getting somewhere. So would you recommend the 25R over HE4 or just for that device or any other series mod or regulated device?Mistakes happen - it's definitely an ICR. Based on the discussion, it's a pretty big mistake?HE4's chem?

This is a recommendation for the DNA40? Is this also the case for parallel? Does parallel only draw from one battery's amp rating when in a regulated device, whilst still able to double the MAH capacity? (Does that make sense?)

Yh, quite a silly mistake really, seeing as the part number starts 'ICR'.
LG HE4s would be good too. I opted for the 25Rs as they have a slightly lower IR, so slightly better performance for the full 100 Watts - if you want to go that far.

From the guid in my footer: Ripshod is giving good advice on which ones, I think the 25R is the best value high drain at the moment, HEs & VTC4s are both very good to.

Seperate indications of the same fault. It's a bad earth on the mod. This is covered elsewhere on these forums, will try to dig up a link for you I can't find it. It wasn't a thread in it's own right, more something that came up in a thread discussing the VaporFlask V3. I wasn't too active on that one, perhaps someone could butt in with a link for us?

Is this an easy fix for a novice or can it not be fixed? I would have no clue where to start!

It's not really the value I'm concerned with otherwise I'd get all my batteries from Fasttech. I am however now more confused, "HEs"? Meaning any battery from the LGHE series? I'm under the impression the HE2 is an ICR?

I'm under the impression the HE2 is an ICR? Where did you get that info from? Both the HE2 and HE4 are IMRs

I'm under the impression the HE2 is an ICR? value after the quality > 20 A battery bracket, the main thing it to be careful of getting fakes and buy from a trusted vendor like torchy or ecolux, btw FT 25Rs are genuine. VTC4, 25R, LG HE2 or LG HE4 all good, the VTC has the highest current rating and would be my choice in a mech if going low R, but the extra mAh on the 25R, the price and low IR makes it my battery of choice in high power regulated mods. As Ripshod said the LG HEs are IMR

I agree with the VTC4/25R comparison. As both are suitable in regards to the drain, and both are GOOD batteries, the choice simply comes down to the price and the capacity. The VTC4 loses out on both counts (at the moment).
Who knows, maybe next week I'll recommend something else?
ETA: At the moment I'm looking at AW-T's offerings. I think I mentioned earlier in this thread that they're proving to be a little inconsistent so I'll probably never recommend them.
