I've used the vendor several times VapingBad and cannot fault them. Be surprised if your order doesn't arrive on Tuesday flavourtank.

From talking to striker42 at vapemeets, I know he's a man that calls a spade a spade. If he vouches for the vendor then you can feel safe.

I can also vouch for Puremist as I've used them quite a few times for juices, batteries and the iStick 50. Great service Very quick delivery from Belfast, and I'm using those batteries in my Beast Box as I type. Excellent

Simply they're still using 'ICR' in the descriptions (the part number is LGDBHE21865) rather than the more correct 'IMR'. So ICR would in fact be a derogatory term. Please direct me to where I can confirm this information rather than link to chemistry Li-ion. I don't want to keep bothering you and I want to believe you but if you could share your sources? I'm happy to research but unfortunately, I thought I had. If the manufacturers can't even get it right and people who claim to of tested particular cells and provide contradictory information or confirm the data but is however a mistake...

I'm happy to research but unfortunately, I thought I had. If the manufacturers can't even get it right and people who claim to of tested particular cells and provide contradictory information or confirm the data but is however a mistake... Without the training needed to actually analyze the chemistry of a cell's anode I can't 100% say I KNOW it's an IMR. I can only do what others have done. 1. Delivering a safe CDR of 20Amps at 2500mAh it can't be an ICR. The IR (tested) being less than 0.02 ohms confirms this. At my works I can test batteries on a dedicated Cadex machine (testing centre) that holds a database of probably 90% of all the batteries available - not just Li-Ion. 2. Common knowledge. Everyone believes they are IMR. 3. The spec from LG Chem: docs.google.com/file/d/0By-7aw3qPc-oa09ENnNFMUtxTFU/edit?pli=1 The Manganese makes it an IMR. 4. Trust. We have to trust these are what LG say they are. LG can't afford to lie. With the recent experience we had with one of our former members trust can be a hard thing to gain. After that it'll always be damn hard for someone else to be trusted that much. All this info is out there. If anyone feels unsafe about my experience then don't trust me. Rely on VapingBad, or do the research yourself.

I trust Ripshod on batteries and electronics and often learn things from him.

If I'm not sure I ask VapingBad or Ripshod. I don't understand all the numbers and letters attached to batteries. Buy a device, spot a battery, ask said gents if its safe, yes or no. For me its that simples. So thanks chaps for your advice.

I only use Samsung 25r's as I know they are safe and are 20A/2500 mAh. I don't vape over 30 watts or use a mech (yet), so I I can vape away safe and happy all day. They are readily available in this country from reliable vendors, so no problems if faulty. I have even plucked up the courage to order 'authentic' ones from FT, as members here have said that they really are authentic. I, personally, wouldn't bother trying any batteries/cells which I was advised not to. Burnt hands means no work equals no money with burnt hands. When I get a mech, I will probably use VCT4's. Unless I pull out the stops and buy a Gizmo. Then I'll ask for advice on here. And take it. Just my tuppence

Your samsung 25Rs will be good at down to 0.2 ohms. I know this leaves little leeway going by specs, but samsung are generally conservative with C ratings. If you want to be superduper safe, stick to 0.3 ohms or above. That's 88W on a fully charged battery (or 59W @ 0.3 ohms), more than enough for most folks. On top of this, the samsungs higher capacity at those resistances will see batteries lasting a fair bit longer.
