After finding Bacon, Roast Chicken and Baked Potato quite an enjoyable vape at the weekend . . . . No prizes for guessing which way I voted.  Machine oil would just be another taste experience for me. |

Depends on the atty:
Clone from China - definitely needs cleaning to rid it of swarf and machine oil.
Genuine atty from a reputable supplier (example Lemo V2) - no need as the tank is sold ready to use.
To clean the machine oil off you will need to use a solvent, yes, even you ultrasonic users. If you just use water in your cleaner then you might as well not bother. Isopropyl alcohol / rubbing alcohol, cheap vodka or numerous other generally inaccessible chemical solvents will do the job. After this hot water and soap is the next best thing.
