the wifes going back on the ecig, she says. she has 2 mk1 sds but dont like them at all (if im honest there no where near as good as the mk1, there either great or not good). i need some suggestions, she is really quite happy with the 901s. but there an an expensive way of doing it imo. i just had a look at teccs tornado, the attys look different what are they. she also didnt like the end button on the SDs either. just need a few suggestions really. me im happy with my sd mk2, until i warrant buying the gg slim.

Raggy, the tornado atties are 510. They are slightly shorter/wider than the 901 atties.

I think they are normal 510 atties.
Any 510 batteries fit. I have been using the tornado batteries and the riva batteries with the 510 atties & they are fine so far.
Not too sure about price to be honest. The charge lasts longer than 901 batteries, so that's a bonus.
510 batteries can be bought at any online e-cig shop I think.
I'm sure other forum users will give you better advice.

Raggy, if your wife doesn't fancy the Tornado / Riva (which are both great ); what about a 901 passthrough (paid £6.50 from either TECC or LF) connected to a power pack for mobility? (or computer) Love 'em & not much £££ to risk on a trial?

Hi Raggy As you probably know, I've been using the Riva for the past 6 or 7 weeks and it is fab. I use it with LR atties. I only have a MKI SD, but even using that with the LR atties, the Riva stands out by miles. Other devices I have are wetbox, 905 Nomad (screwdriver copy but with button on the side), GD passthrough and regular 901 manual and automatic. The Riva beats them all (yes, even my passthrough). I just collected my first order from TECC today, which was Tornado batteries and have been using them with a Tornado cone on a LR attie all day, and it compares well to the Riva. The only difference to me is the button - I prefer the Riva one - more tactile. The 'Mega' stuff. The battery is quite a lot longer and wider. It lasts much longer - they reckon 24 hours, although I find my Riva batteries do almost that long. The atties are a lot bigger and wider - the width of the battery, so no room for the cone. The carts are supposed to be able to hold 2.5ml of juice - a whole days worth - although reading feedback from other experimenters, attempts to fill it to capacity seem to result in a gobful of juice! My own experience, and reading around the forums, the Toregoriva is the way to go at the moment, and with TECC's current prices, is a great deal. if your wife wants to try my Nomad (it takes 14500 batteries), she is welcome to borrow it, although the Riva really does beat it hands down.

Raggy, the forum is liberally peppered with rave reviews by users of the "Tornegoriva" - we just aren't disciplined enough to make them easy to find I don't have one but from what I've read I think it's the best way to go for your wife. Having said that, I didn't find it difficult to get used to the SD1 button, but it's all about personal habits. Also, I made more effort than I do on other things because I was to thrilled to find myself off the baccy. Anyway, I'm glad to hear that your wife wants to give e-cigs another go scylla

Something's wrong with my netbook since a Windows update this morning - I was going to plonk a jazzy red Tornado here for your wife's consideration Oh well, they're all on this page: ... which I expect you know already I'm still fighting the temptation, especially after reading how much better the Tornado is than the SD I meant to ask about the discount codes - I bet not scylla
