I have got them K.. I opened the black/gold one up and the cable going to the body/cap is completely charred. Was this the one you melted that cart with? Also the silicone washer separating the center pin from the earth has a big gash in it. You've really been pushing back the cuticles on this one haven't you? Sounds like more than a centre pin problem?

Firstly , I only just saw this which is weird cos I've been on the boards all night , secondly I cannot believe you got them so quick I could not have got from Mull to you in that amount of time certainly not for 85p including envelope , Thirdly , no I don't think that is the one that the Carto burned on I thought it was a silver one but it is possible I was so upset that day!, Finally I did get quite excited by teh pushing up thing but only because it was working ( until I killed it)

Sorry for the bad news K.. As far as I can tell the electronics on both of them are fried..One of them is permanently stuck on live with a mofset failure and the other one is just dead. I tried for about an hour each but to no avail.

How I understand that! Misbehaving e-cig gear can turn me into a nervous wreck (instead of a neurotic all-in-one-piece ). I hope your new stuff will be plain-sailing {{{Kirsty}}}

Totally Scylla , thought e-cigs were meant to help me stop smoking not have me digging out my old Physics textbooks and regretting not doing that engineering degree! Incidentally this thread should be re-named when Kirsty started to lose the plot, how badly I lost the plot I will keep to myself for now (and a few individuals who have helped me regain the plot, they know who they are )

Ok so about time to start mentioning people who helped me regain the plot first up is a Doctor Macca who a few posts above stated that I had successfully managed to kill my Riva completely well like Lazarus they have risen from the dead and they arrived today safe and sound through my letter box with a few extra bits to stop the pins sinking so I'm not tempted to kill them again . He also checked that two of the stardust worked and if I'mnot mistaken he's also replaced one of the wick which is a bit naughty as he didn't tell me he was doing that . Thanks Macca!

Wow never eve thought you could raise the centre pin lol. How do you know when it needs doing? I do have a habit of screwing atties/cartos in quite tight, although I've learnt not to do that with my GGTB..thanks to chrissie
