No prob at all with leaving the other posts empty.......single or dual coil is your choice.........just don't do my coil build as 2 coils.......resistance would be 0.1 I hand twisted it myself........manually. Both my drills are on holiday

Thank you Get Off My Cloud That wire sounds great. Will bookmark it for my next FT order. And, lol, yes, no problem with buying it ready-wound; more time to vape and do other stuff; makes sense to me, lol

Well, I've done the new coils and definitely all working better ... Are you supposed to leave it to wick for 10 minutes each time you add a new flavour, and just take a few chuffs then add more juice? Really am a nervous dripper, lol, and it's because there's nothing between my mouth and the potential flames. So used to having the tank's various parts there. Am at .4ohms, 7 wraps/22awg/3mm, and have just tried at 43w/4.1v, and much better flavour/vapour. Just worried the wick suddenly dries out and get flames.

It will taste awful before it catches fire. Well, usually, lol.
Just make sure there is plenty juice on the wick and you'll be fine. You are good to go straight away, as long as the wick is saturated.
Good luck.

And, just to check; if the batteries are getting a bit warm, I should up the watts, so the batteries aren't having to work so hard?

I notice with drippers that I get a warning as the flavour and vapour start to sag, telling me it's time to drip.

just one more thing because your inhaling far more vapor than norm drop nic and pg levs
you dont need to have the air slots fully open spesh with the drip tip you have added i would aim for the slots being same size as the coils

I can see with this rda it's a case of not having the coils showing through the air slots? Nice basic one, so there's nothing I can swivel or anything. Noticed two extra tiny dot airholes, as well as discovering chocolate cheesecake recipe through mixing both flavours, one per coil, so that's the sweet tooth taken care of, lol.

Nice job on that recoil kittyvape. Ill just repeat what decoy was saying in one of his posts. Its all about the airflow when making a coil for a dripper. With drippers where the air enters at the side, position the coil higher(above the level of the air-hole). Air tends to travel the path of least resistance, and will start to move up towards the drip-tip very quickly. Keeping the area under the coil clear of wick will help the air travel under the coil before it it gets pulled up. In the fist build, the air would have come in and just brushed past the side and over the top of the coil while on its way to the drip-tip. Second build looks much better. P.S. Always get a new atty working well on a standard 'kanthal 'n' cotton' build, so you can find how to 'set' it before trying anything else. If its not working on a standard build it wont work any better with different materials etc.

You're right about using a standard build too; I'm using single 22awg, 3mm, 7 wraps at the moment, for Subtank and Mini, so have just done that build, dual coil, on the Infinite, definitely higher than the air-holes this time ... something I love about the rda; all that wonderful space to build up higher in is great, and I got a bit creative this time, lol ... it's called the 'night at the theatre' build, lol. At 55w, best flavour/vapour so far, and no spitting, so am really happy with it. Coils higher than air-holes, and the extra length of wick makes a great difference too.

kittyvape - twisting your own wire is really easy, and doesn't require a drill. Go into the kitchen and choose a small saucepan or old coffee mug (so that if it drops and breaks it doesn't matter!). The saucepan needs a hole at the end of the handle - most do. Fee about a metre of wire through the hole and bring the ends together, clamping them in a pair of pliers or similar. Then simply spin the saucepan/mug until the wire either snaps (hence the warning about an old mug!) or the wire starts to buckle. Carefully cut the wire around the handle, trim the ends, and hey presto, some twisted wire. A metre of wire should give you about 35cm of twisted wire, which I then check by using www.steam-engine.org to work out the pitch (the number of twists per mm). It works really well, and in fact I have a couple of drippers fitted with a single twisted wire and it performs as well, if not better, than dual coils.

I just made some, using a pen with a clip on it and the pliers. Yay! Does this look good to use? Steam says .2 and 70w, from 6 wraps/3mm. It'll be the lowest ohms I've vaped too. EDIT: just used heavy pliers instead of pen, and have got a tighter result. Made it; showing .4 on Sigelei, so is most likely .3 something + me being a newb. The flavour is absolutely amazing. I never dare chuff for ages on the rda yet, especially at new 70w level, but when I've juiced it and firing it, loads of vapour, and determined to get more confident, lol.
