Hi firstly sorry admin I tried to find the existing Thread but couldn't find it. Vicky wood a member here wanted me to pass this on as her lap top s away for repair .
she went to change the battery in her cloupor mini tonight and it burst into flames , luckily she opened the window and threw it out side. She always charges separately and removes the battery at night.
iv attached pictures for you to see
o gosh can't find them back in one minute to add them sorry

It looks the negative (bottom black) battery wire frayed, but that shouldn't cause this on it's own as the body is the same voltage there would have to be another fault to cause sparks there.

Most of the burnt up ones i've seen seem to be due to a fault on the board and the board heating up this looks more like the battery hard shorted or something.

I think you should report this to the Daily Mail But on a serious note, I remember reading about this at least 6 months ago on plantofthevapes if I remember correctly so why are people still risking using it when any Gods amount of better mods can be had for less than £30?

What was the serial number of this particular Cloupor Mini @yavape, it might be helpful to someone else who has one.
I'm pleased and relieved to hear that there was no harm caused to @vickywood or damage to her property.

That just looks like a dodgy battery shorting to me. Looks nothing like the few where the board failed. But if anyone wants rid, pm me. It's still, and will remain, my go to work mod.

I did buy one about a month ago (China) and tested it with a coil that was about to be chucked for the 15 second heat test, just in case. It passed with no 'over heating' message or whatever it says, it just shut off as intended. But to be honest, it doesn't really get a look in these days, and I have used it maybe 2-3 times, because the MVP3 Pro, Smok M80, Coolfire IV and VTR2, and sometimes MVP2 get used before it gets to be used... It just doesn't attract the affection that all the others do, I don't know why, 'cos it works ok, so it just sits on my shelf with the others not in use looking rather glum and is at me...

Thank you everyone she was a little scared bless her . The batteries were genuine Samsung bought from UK . She did say that the other day it didn't want to turn on even on a full battery like the power wasn't getting through Perpetua I will ask her the serial number. Though I do know it is one of the old ones . VapingBad I think your right because the battery has been used in another mod and is fine up to now , and with the power issue happening I believe it was the mod

Perpetua I will ask her the serial number. Though I do know it is one of the old ones . That could possibly explain it @yavape as the first/early production run there were known issues with - the serial number is posted on the original thread, something like 000001? I've bought 2 since then, with later numbers and they are both fine - well used and much enjoyed infact.
