If you want to vape at the higher voltages, you are better off using SR cartos 2.8-3.0 ohm, or similar. If using LR stuff, try them at about 3.2v-3.6v, you might be pleasantly surprised.

I'd also agree with Roger's sound advice . . . running Low Resistance gear continously at those high voltages, you're liable to burn out whatever it is you're using considerably faster . . . I tend not to go above 4.0v absolute max on my beloved clearo tanks, maybe a bit higher when the wimping off occurs.

I got my lavatube wet (and I mean soaked) . Don't ask..... Dried it for about 18 hours in rice. Still 0 working. Comes on when you put a battery in then auto switches off.....Can't alter the voltage - nothing Any tips? You've broken it in a nutshell I'd imagine Jane . . . electronics like this are not waterproof, nor can you realistically expect them to be. You might find some further drying out will help, but I'd be dubious about that. Thanks Thought so...sent it in for repairs. Okay so it was only in my bag but still...worked initially when wet (kind of) then died... Jane

you should never use electrical stuff when wet, that is when the damage is done. leave to dry fully then see if it works

you live and learn i guess ...water conducts electricity as you may know. therefore if you get anything wet/soaked then it creates a circuit across all the electronics causing damage you should always remove battery at once and leave to dry fully so as not to cause further damage... once dry you can test to see if it works but damage may have already been done

LT seems to be working fine nw... looks like the ultra fire battery was causing the problem, it shorted out the LT and then the regular batteries took a while to get everything working fine again... binned the ultra fire and dealer has kindly offered to send panny replacement and only charge the difference,,,
so, in short, i don;t think there was any issue with the LT, just the battery.... enjoying it immensely now11
