Slightly OT but both myself and a friend ordered two of these each. Mine arrived a few days ago, hers today. She text me earlier asking if mine were okay as hers are useless. Checked and mine are also useless. The posts wobble like mad because the bottom screw doesn't screw in properly and that's the only thing keeping one of the posts in place. Even screwed is as far as possible one side wobbles like crazy and no matter what I did all Myods gave a 'short' error with them. My friends were exactly the same. So 4 ordered. 4 utterly useless. I must have got lucky as both of mine from FT have been fine, they were ordered awhile ago though.

Yeah I did look at the reviews and it seems ones from a while back were good but newer batches not so much. I've put in a ticket but thankfully it's no giant loss.

I ordered 10 and they've been spot on although I also ordered when they first became available.

I had major issues with one of my sub tank minis, same problem, ohms jumping all over. I bought a new V2 base which seems to work ok after I had tried everything. Then yesterday my V1 started playing up recoiled it, ok to begin with then leaping ohms once more, took it apart, redid the coil, test fired it, then discovered the coil screws had become loose? Tightened it all up and so far it seems to have settled down. I did contact Kanger who seemed helpful to start with, but I've heard nothing since, but generally the tanks seem to be playing nice now. Yesterday's frolics made me wonder if after the coil has been fired a few times, if the screws work a little loose? Just wish these things would do what they we supposed to.

That's not beyond the realms, it all heats up and cools down in use so best to check your coil connections are tight each time you rewick but it's very unlikely they'll loosen after s few fires unless they aren't secured correctly initially.

Any of you guys know the dimensions of the rba deck screws? ... one of my FT rbas has a screw that won't tighten. I have checked under the magnifier and it is definitely the screw thread and not the socket that has the stripped threads. My digital ruler thingy needs a new battery or I would measure it myself.

I had the jumping ohms happen for the first time a couple of days ago too; tightened the rba (mini) base's post and that seemed to fix that, but then tank started to just dump juice randomly. At the end of my kittywits, lol, with leaking tanks. Was relying on a Subtank and 2 Mini's and each one of them has started just randomly dumping juice, a lot of it too! Anyways, hope you find the new rba bases work well igual

kittyvape mine dump juice randomly too, I've decided they are quite fussy about their wicks....it does sometimes get right up my wick! Still love the tanks though, just wish they didn't have little niggles

kittyvape sleedale Dumping juice is sometimes caused by an air leak into the tank. Have you tried changing the seals/checked for chipped or cracked glass? Juice seems to deteriorate seals. Or maybe they just break down? Just a thought if you are wicking normally. I haven't had a problem yet, but worth a try for a few pence.

I would just like to order some extras from fleabay ... back ups for backups

In fact it's in my pocket so could post this morning.

I have plenty of spare screws but I just like to add to my collection of random O rings, magnets, screws etc. Thanks anyway for the offer mate. .. Top man.
