Patients Charter lmao , That just means the patient has to have patience and wait until the surgery can be bothered to fit you in

Oh gosh well in the end I ended up going down and getting me self seen by the nurse practitioner in the end, I took some ibuprofen as I wrote this thread and and it did go down a bit so I bailed out of the a&e idea , and just when to the surgery and they Let me see the nurse after I gave the receptionist a big wide mouthed ARRGHH lol Long story short since the ibuprofen reduced it she gave me some other anti inflammatorys and has me a proper appointment with a doctor in the morning and a number to ring if it flares back up in the mean time My doctors is a weird one now since all of them in the area merged into one big fancy one , problem being if you want an appointment you have to ring at 8am that morning on a convenient 0845 number to listen to some classical music as everyone battles it out for the days appointments ha! It's nice you guys care to see I'm ok thank you *group hugs* See what tomorrow brings

"WE DO NOT OPERATE A WALK IN SURGERY. You will need a pre-booked appointment to see one of our clinicians. If you just turn up at the surgery without an appointment you will be disappointed. " www.argylemedicalgroup.co.uk/page1.aspx?p=2&t=2 Makes one laugh

Our new all seeing and dancing Health Centre/Minor Accident Unit is the same Stitch . . . you need to know well in advance, when you intend to be unwell and require their services.

Ohh seriously don't get me started I had a mystery allergy that started this time last year, took me to May to get an appointment (apparently being well enough to work isn't co-hesive with needing a Doc's appt). Had some bloods and was giving the ok, and thankfully I had a hippy friend who set me up with a herbal remedy that keeps allergy under wraps as its appeared again , a few weeks ago. Not even going to bother trying to speak to the Doctor this year just figure its a seasonal allergy . Worse thing is though the way things are going the natural remedy I use will be out-lawed by the pharma's (where have we heard that before on this forum?)
Glad your ok stitch hope you have success tomorrow

Stitch
Glad all seems ok
My Docs isn't too bad but then i see him about once a year and they usually squash you in at the end of surgery.
We do have an all singing/dancing Polyclinic nearby but without your notes they are not much good
Unless it's serious they just tell you to make an appointment with your GP at the earliest opportunity.
