Aye, pretty glad mine has not shipped from Vapecig yet, total balls up for the guys on the potv GB, but good to see the guy that organised it taking care of the issues.
Only reason I bought it from a UK vendor is exactly this reason, my contract is with them, not Vapecig .

What's more disturbing is the lack of QC as this should have picked up all the issues, plus two boards DOA does not bode well

Well after reading all the reports flooding the net at the abysmal QC at Vapecige i have cancelled the Vt200, and switched to the HCigar version as judging by their past mods like the VT40. ( luckily the vendor was understanding)
One of my pals brought his Vapecige VT200 round for a wee checkout last night (luckily his has non of the issues with 510 coming lose yet) and to be fair it is a nice looking mod, but gluing the 510 in was a big mistake, as is trying to cram a Li Po in there of the size they have used is going to be asking for trouble down the line as when my mate showed me the trouble getting the pack in or out( i know they dont want you to remove for charging, but i have still got my li-po balance charger and its definatly the way to go if you know what your doing) the pack when inserted is basically crushing the balance socket below it!
Playing with escribe was good, and not hard to learn the different features (Dont let VB see this lol) but i am in all honesty very impressed with the board, it seemd like a dream to work with.
So probably a couple of weeks to wait as i dont think the Hcigar version hits these shores until around Sept 10th

No idea what he's saying, but you can see they have made more room for the battery by hollowing out the bottom.
One less job for me to do Edit: Seems I was wrong about that. He just has a lot less trouble getting it in and out. Looked like he had more space. Fun times just after 24mins 45sec

Seems a bit strange they are still having issues with the 510, look at that date. I`m guessing it`s a typo.

Just saw this on ECF... Apparently, the battery connectors are the right way around now, as well as the 510 being press fitted. They have also added a ribbon to help getting the battery out. Shame he didn't take a closer look, instead of constantly repeating himself

I have one to review from Gearbest, so far it`s been shit hot The Evolve software is really comprehensive. I`ll be stripping mine when I review it and get some close ups of the 510 etc. No ribbon in mine under the battery but easy enough to get out with a little care.

It would have helped a bit, but would not solve the main issue where your compressing the balance lead between the casing at the base, also putting pressure on the balance connector at the board. My mates continues to work well ( he admits himself he got lucky) as the damning evidence of Vapecige's QC out of 20 units purchased on the GB on POTV , some 13 were having to be returned, granted a few of these were due to failed cells. But yet again the Company should have checked these cells before sending.
I received confirmation yesterday from Angelfire Mods that the Hcigar mods were shipping last night, so hopefully in my grubby hands by the weekend.

Quit a few people having a fit over the Hcigar VT200 having a brass 510 threads. Apparently they do not hold up very well, leading to wobbly attis over time.
