When I get the time I'll run the analyser on it, so far the battery and cells all look good in Escribe, just poor actual run time, I would hate to see how long a user would get running above 100w

I'm easy getting a day at 40 W with a 950 mAh battery, was a but less at first and can only guess that I am taking shorter puffs than before. And I only charge them to 4.1 V using the max battery life setting. car147 you could just note the mWh number in Device Monitor stats between charges.

Will do next time VB, for all I know the supplied battery could just be a poor battery, and as the cell size does not seem to correspond to the dimensions I wold expect for a 1300mah pack, it may be they are in fact far less.
I have a Gens Ace 900mah on the way so it will be interesting just to see how that performs despite being some 400 mah less.

Right a wee update, today has been a lot better, got 9hrs of fairly constant vaping, dunno why the change has happened as i wouldnt expect a battery with a few cycles on it get such a difference.
Oh the other thing i noticed in Escribe when checking the WH caculator it seems HCigar stuck in the figures that would return a Mah of 900, so to me it does look like the pack is indeed less than stated. Otherwise very happy with it so far.
Watt Hour reading at discharged and stuck on Escribe was 0.233 Now taken off charge for the night but will update when fully recharged.

Ok and hope I have this right . With the battery depleted last night it had a reading in Escribe of 0.233wh, and at the completion of balance charging 9953wh
Then deduct 9953-233 =9720wh To convert Watt Hours to Mah therefore 9720 divided by pack voltage 11.1 gives 875 x 1000 = 875 mah, and if I am correct no where near the claimed pack capacity of 1300mah.
Apart from that a very good mod, personally I would have preferred it slightly larger so as to accommodate a bigger pack as the Mod is very small compared to the Vapecig offering.

You would expect 10 Wh for 900 mAh 11.1 V, maybe you mean 9.720 Wh (9720 mWh). I would use this value from device monitor They say it can take 6 cycles for these batteries to reach capacity and there will be a little left below the cut off (3.09 V under load by default).

How long does the battery test take to run VapingBad ? .................... roughly I have not bothered, but about 6 hours. IIRC it drains and recharges the battery to make a better curve for the battery gauge and logs how hot the mod gets for better temp regulation. You will need a resistance to handle 40 W in the 510, a very big thick kanthal coil may just about do it, nothing like what you would vape on they use metal cased high power resistors. Still not sure if the 510 is really press fitted, or just better glued...

from my short experience turning down the screen brightness down to 40% and active time out to 20secs seems to have made a big difference with battery.

After being-slightly disappointed with the battery life and doing some digging around the net it seems Hcigar did not set any of the data for the battery , case temp , and internal resistance of the mod.
I found on another forum info confirming the battery is actually 14.43 wah and not the 9.45wah it is set at out the box this has made a hell of a difference, a bit disappointing they never bothered to either supply this info, or indeed program it in.
Really hapoy with the results now and just thought i would pop the info in here in case anyone else has the HCigar vt200

Still waiting for my HCigar to arrive, but does this mean you have to program in the battery capacity? What sort of difference does that make? Thank you

That is very poor car147 while it is only necessary to set the battery capacity the other stuff should be done by mod makers making multiple identical units, it only takes 30 seconds or so once they run the test on samples.

Thank you Yes, it is very easy, the battery meter will be wrong otherwise, it will still be safe because the min voltage cut off would still be active. I would load the latest pre release version from here, I have been using it for weeks. ETA if you are going to run very low resistance or want best accuracy I would also set the Mod Resistance info
