Apologies if this has been covered before, but can any of you experienced TC vapers give your valued views on the pros and cons of nickel versus Titanium coils eg: ease of use, life time of coil, possible health risks etc. All views welcome and appreciated in advance.

Tried both don't really see much difference, i'm fully in the camp of TC vaping is crap. I've given it a good go and it just doesn't suit my style of vape, i've tried twisted coils, claptons the lot it just doesn't deliver the goods for me.
Doesn't matter what i try if i set the temp limit so it isn't going to scorch the wick the performance is just pants, the vapour production is weak and the flavour is anaemic, it's like vaping fresh air. The only way i've found to get round this is to raise the temp limit which defeats the point as far as i'm concerned. Not only are you not preventing the wick getting scorched you're also just wasting battery life, it takes a lot more power to heat up a 0.1ohm TC coil than it does a 1.0ohm Kanthal one and there's no real benefit or better performance that i can notice.
I dunno maybe it works better on mouth to lung style tanks but that's not my style of vape i like a good full lung hit and TC just doesn't deliver it not without bumping the temp limit up way beyond where it's actually useful.

Next time, if there is one, try more wraps (surface area) it is a better strategy than upping the temp IMO.

Respect Where do you have your temp limit set, same to you VapingBad on a lung hitting setup? I will bet it's above the scorching point of cotton or you're taking really long pulls. Maybe it is just me although i have my doubts because every time i watch a reviewer reviewing a TC device on a TC setup they've either got the limit up way above the scorching point or they're sat their pulling on the thing for like 10-15 seconds.

I got a velocity running at 400 F 100 W without the temp limit cutting in all the time Get Off My Cloud, had to suck real real hard and flood the coils link.

when nickel is heated it may leach and produce nickel carbonyl which is toxic. nickel is classed as a hazardous substance and a group A human carcinogen. It's also water soluble... Just sayin.
