Is cloud chasing a man thing?

I'm sorry to hear of those oxygen disposal unit that turned up to your meet Roscopecotrain . They should know better. I habitually drip at 90-100W at home but when at our Edinbugger I drop t 50W to not inconvenience the owner, staff and customers who happily allow us to frequent this establishment. Even then we all take care to not saturate the air with vapour.


Fair enough, some of us cloud chase, but that's for a puff here and there. In general we behave so that the fantastic staff at the Scotch hop are happy to see us again, and kinda surprisingly, many punters show an interest in vaping.

I dont see any positive`s at all in cloud chasing, apart from pishing people off, smokers, vapers and non smokers, why on earth would you cover the insides of your lungs with a coating of e liquid. I have tried it a few times and hate that heavy feeling in your chest. Look after your lungs, they have had enough abuse as it is from years of smoking. It`s still very early days for cloud chasing, no-one really knows if it will have any effect on health.

I think it's more to do with courtesy and using your brain. Think to yourself am I going to piss people off here, if the answer is yes, don't inhale as deeply, hold it in a bit longer and blow it away from any nearby people! There are too many inconsiderate, brainless people in the world now.

I have no problem with them coming or cloud chasing and as it was a vape meet with a vendor i along with everyone else didnt think it would be a problem but due to the layout of the pub the bar just filled up and people were in there eating. I spoke to a few people in the bar and they had no issues with it but some due to what they have read in the press were not happy.
Thank fully the pub has done some research and helped explain things but going foward it will be kept simple.

You have just reminded me of something that happened in a pub near me a couple of weeks ago. Me and the wife often go to this pub for Sunday dinner. The pub has a large beer garden. So, when the weather is good folk sit outside to dine. When food is being served outside, they put signs up saying "no smoking during food service"
So what do this old couple do when they finish their meal? They both light fags up. Smoke blowing over the couple who were sat at the table next to us and still eating.
I couldn't sit there and do nothing. I calmly stood at their table and asked them to read the signs and put the cigs out. The old man told me to keep my nose out!!! At this point, I lost it. I told him if he didn't put it out right away I would make him eat it. He put it out.
Why do we have to put up with ignorant folk. Are they ignorant, plain stupid, or do they not have any feelings for other folk?

It makes my blood boil.

I personally don't see why any vaper would have issues with other people wanting to blow clouds other than what's been mentioned regarding ignorant people. You get them in all walks of life though and they're equally annoying no matter what the subject is.

There should be another saying not just "cloud chasing" I'm "bigger hit chasing" a bigger hit comes with bigger clouds though. Have moved to 60pg40vg for the mixing now to try to lower my clouds but i mixed a 100% pg mix for steath vaping at the airport on the plane this year, didn't like it, almost burning feeling, not smooth.

I just have to be aware of my surroundings and except I'm not using a VTR/pro tank at 7 watts anymore.

In summary: cloud chasing, some like some don't, some will some won't, broad agreement that people who do it in public don't help the Vaping cause at all and are inconsiderate to boot.. (oh, and one vote that all those participating in cloud chasing competitions are possibly compensating for having small willies...)

None of us realised there was a problem until it had happened, by which time, it was too late.
