They are overpriced and make a fair amount of money from ripping off vapers who know no better. But it has left them with the sort of money for stuff like this.

I don't for a second believe their fight is with the vaping community and those smokers we are yet to convert in mind, they are trying to protect their business. But as that outcome would be a positive one for all of us, I'm right behind them, whatever the motive.

This has been a totally cynical enterprise by Totally Wretched, they overprice (not just their own products, but the makes that they are distributers for). Trying to appear as the vapers` saviour when ALL they are doing is looking after their dwindling profits should they be unsuccessful. They are all about marketing and this has been marketing of Totally Wicked. Clearly it hasn`t pulled the wool over the eyes of a lot of vapers.


Totally Wicked`s connection with the appeal, so prominent, has been a big negative on funds and support for the cause ................................. IMO

I disagree totally with this.

TW are over priced, I don't use them BUT

The marketing strategy, B&M shops etc have introduced a lot of people to vaping.  This is a good thing no matter if they are over priced or not

Marketing costs money, I think they showed a lot of balls to attack the market on a grandish scale.

The court-case and their fight against bans will help all of us.  No disrespect but a sizable company with some financial clout will command more respect and have a greater chance of getting their issues across than some web based shop

Also as a side note, who cares if they are trying to protect their assets?  wouldn't you?  I would

If someone was robbing my paper stack I would cut their fingers off.  It's the same principle really.

You're right, we are all entitled to our own, however in this case I strongly feel that yes, the guy his protecting his own interests and fair play to him in my mind.  But, the action they are taking is of benefit to everyone who vapes.

The trouble is the number of people supporting them is way below what would be expected from a sponsor that was not connected to a vendor, particularly Totally Wicked. Personally I wouldn`t do what they are doing if I were a vender, I might become part of a group of venders maybe via a vendor`s association but not this way. It has backfired on the campaign which is clear from the disappointing number of people that have supported it. You wont change my mind and I wont change yours so lets agree to disagree

I put TW up with some of the other unsavoury vendors (my opinion) out there that shall not be named. From changing the name of mods and hiking the price to almost threatening people that bought iSticks from a vendor other than them (cos they were the "official" suppliers). Be under no illusion that TW are doing this to protect THEIR interests not that of us vapers. Yes what they are doing might be of benefit to the rest of us but that's just a convenient occurrence that sits nicely to get support.

The question is, how many of the group of vendors could afford the legal fees to challenge, not many I would bet.

Its the same as saying every company who sells 15ml of premium eliquid for £14.99 are ripping everyone off.

The stand down of support from vapors for these campaigns will lead to the closure of 90% of vendors, ones that we both love and hate. This will lead to you paying 9 quid a day for some shite e-cig that leads you back into smoking, or covered in patches.

Either that or you'll be waiting for your shipment from China, hoping that customs don't impound it and that your postman doesn't grass you up to the feds. You will be vaping in a black jump suit, wearing a balaclava, down some dimly lit back alley.

My biggest concern with all this is that TW effectively had to go it alone, rather than ECITA TAKING THIS UP AS A WORTHY CAMPAIGN. Surely the national trade body could have called on members to pull together and do this?
