Proboards are on it, there's a fair number of threads now with the same issue:
support.proboards.com/thread/563812/forum-loading-slow-member
If anyone is able to do this thing of which Michael Stone advises - please do, you can post as a Guest on the Support Board with the info.
Screenshots/F12 buttons are not my forte.
In the meanwhile I've done the unmentionable thing until this issue is resolved - has cured the slow loading pages for me.

I can't access the forum on my pc (windows 7 running firefox ) as its so slow i lost the will to live!! Its something to do with some rubicon thing whatever that is, because that was what was trying to load on each page i tried.
Its absolutely fine through my phone though (using firefox for android)

Been having problems using dolphin but as soon as i switch to chrome all good so it must be a browser compatibility issue caused by proboards fiddling with something.
