joyetech evic vtc 75w update

hi all,

vtc mini owners can now update to firmware 1.20 and get 15 watts extra....now 75 watts!!!
download software from jt .com site not the uk site.....support/software dl

bought this on a whim, but so glad i did

I love my new evic mini, but im assuming that seens i dont vape over 11 watts theres probably no point in my updating the firmware (or is there another reason to do so?)

Iv got the mini on order from gearbest but I'm seeing a lot of people are having problems with something to do with the ohm fluctuating or something ( on ukv ) does anybody know if this issue is only happening if you do the updates. I think this is when using the mini in temp mode.

I tried updating mine today it said it was successful but still only goes to 60w I followed the instructions on there website anyone go an idea why it wouldn't work?

I was having problems downloading the upgrade (not being computer savvy  ) so I followed this youtube guide by The Vapor Chronicles on 'how to':

minime I believe v1.10 fixed the TC issues. Sub ohming 0.2 / 0.15 Ni coils perfectly.

Updated mine a few days ago and had no issues with it. Maybe it's an atty problem. Some atty's are not very good for TC. I think it's a problem with the design of the atty from what I have read, but I can't remember which ones as I don't own any mentioned in the blog I read.

My mini should be with me today it's coming with the ego one atty tbh I'm not looking forward to playing with it incase it has this fault people are talking about.

I upgraded my EVic Mini firmware to 75w...

It worked, however in my opinion ,its unstable.

I get messages of 'weak battery', and sometimes, the mod wont fire. this was on normal Kanthal...

Suffice to say, I reverted back to the original firmware.. everything is fine now...

mine says 'weak battery' sometimes but only if 60watts or above and battery down to half(ish), but still vapes fine, maybe slight power drop....so guess its just doing its job and monitoring battery

I also got ipv d2 and the only prob with these devices are they will eat through that single 18650 in no time esp above 50 watts......

Has anyone tried a Crown Uwell tank (stainless steel coils) on the Evic???

Got the mini today and it doesn't work properly it don't ask if it's a new coil and when you go for a toot it just says temp protection I'm gutted.

It might be worth re doing the firmware, worth a shot if all else fails
